Tom Likas Objects to Inclusion of His Voice in Meghan Markle’s Spotify Podcast Teaser

American radio personality Tom Likas has expressed his objection to the use of his voice in the teaser of 's Spotify podcast.

Taking to Twitter, Likas tagged Spotify and questioned who gave them permission to use his voice in the promotional material for 's podcast.

Likas' objection follows comments made by Beatrice Cardenas, a member of the Republican Party who ran for election to the U.S. House in 2020.

Cardenas stated that Meghan Markle could face a lawsuit for using a clip of Likas in the introduction of her Spotify podcast.

She suggested that Likas would sue Markle for defamation faster than she could cash her Spotify check.

In addition, royal commentator Neil Sean has claimed that may soon follow in his wife's footsteps and launch his own podcast series.

Sean mentioned that he previously reported on Meghan going solo and can now reveal that Harry is also planning to venture into the podcast world.

The couple seems to have taken action to diversify their revenue streams.

's podcast will reportedly focus on mental health, self-care, and navigating the challenges of today's world.

Since stepping away from the royal family, Harry has already taken on roles aligned with these themes, such as becoming a chief impact officer with Startup Better Up and delivering talks on mental well-being in the workplace.

It is speculated that Harry's podcast may feature interviews on these topics, alongside his upcoming memoir.

Meghan Markle's podcast is expected to be released first, allowing them to gauge its reception before Prince Harry's launch.

Russell Myers, royal editor at the Daily Mirror, predicts that Meghan will bring in influential and successful women as guests on her podcast.

He anticipates that she will feature powerful women who have overcome adversity in various industries.

However, the Sussexes' association with certain political figures has reportedly divided their fan base in the United States.

Kinsey Schofield, founder and creator of the LA-based royal site TodayForDaily.com, believes that Meghan and Harry made a significant mistake by aligning themselves with a specific political party.

Schofield highlights Meghan's participation in virtual events with Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton, and Stacey Abrams, which appeared to endorse Joe Biden without explicitly mentioning his name.

This move caused a rift among royalists who felt that the couple was breaking the rules, as well as among those who questioned why they were being told who to vote for and associating with political figures.

The inclusion of Likas' voice in Meghan Markle's podcast teaser has sparked controversy, while Prince Harry prepares to embark on his own podcast journey.

Meghan's podcast is expected to feature influential women, but the couple's political affiliations have polarized their fan base in the US.

As their podcast ventures unfold, it remains to be seen how successful and impactful their foray into the audio world will be.
