Prince and Princess of Wales Arrive in South Wales for a Series of Engagements

Prior to Street David's Day, which is tomorrow, March 1, the Prince and Princess of Wales arrived in South Wales this morning for a series of visits.

The royal couple, Prince William and Princess Kate, kicked off their day with a visit to the Brinnewell Rehabilitation Centre near Pontyclun.

The purpose of their visit was to learn more about local programs promoting mental wellness and engage with neighborhood groups.

Princess Kate looked stunning in her outfit, wearing a houndstooth print skirt paired with a long cream coat.

Her choice of attire paid homage to Welsh traditional clothing, with the black and white houndstooth design reminiscent of the Kingham skirts worn by Welsh women.

The midi skirt, a part of a previous season's line, was sourced from high-end retailer Zara and can now be found on resale websites for £5.99.

Accompanying the Princess, Prince William donned a custom Alexander McQueen cream coat and a white turtleneck top.

To further honor Wales, a daffodil, the national flower, was pinned to Princess Kate's left lapel, adding a touch of vibrancy to her ensemble.

The royal couple's visit to Wales coincides with the celebration of St. David's Day, an annual event in Wales that honors the country's patron saint.

As part of their engagements, William and Kate are supporting the opening of therapy gardens and allotments in South Wales.

The first garden, located at the Brynwyl Rehabilitation Centre, will feature allotments, a sensory and herbal garden, a mud kitchen, and an interactive learning area.

Following their visit to the rehabilitation center, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will head to the Aberyfon Leisure and Fitness Centre to meet locals and learn about the benefits of sport and exercise for mental health and wellbeing.

Their final visit will take them to the Wales Air Ambulance's headquarters, where they will meet with emergency personnel.
