Prince William and Princess Kate’s Family Vacation on a Stunning UK Island

and Princess Kate, known for their love of travel, recently embarked on a family vacation to a picturesque island in the UK.

While they often explore international destinations, the royal couple also enjoys closer-to-home adventures, with one of their favorite spots being just 28 miles off the Cornish coast.

The enchanting island of Tresco, often referred to as “Mystique without the mosquitoes,” holds a special place in the hearts of the Prince and Princess of Wales.

In fact, himself visited the island back in 1989, accompanied by his parents, younger brother, and other family members.

It became the perfect getaway for the royal family, offering a respite from the prying eyes of the media.

Although the island is no longer owned by the royal family, having been purchased by philanthropist Augustus Smith in 1834, they still have a home there known as Dolphin House, which belongs to Prince William's Duchy of Cornwall.

Reports suggest that in 2020, the family enjoyed a vacation on the island, with Prince George (10), (8), and (5) in tow.

What sets the royal family apart is their down-to-earth nature, which has left locals amazed.

Despite their status, they blend in seamlessly and give off the impression of being an ordinary family.

Residents have shared that William and Kate appeared cheerful and at ease, often seen flashing wide smiles.

The happiness evident on the faces of their bodyguards further indicated that they had a wonderful time.

According to insiders, special boat rides were arranged for the family, allowing them to privately explore some of the wilder islands for bird-watching and dolphin sightings.

Although partially private, this island offers a similar atmosphere to their beloved Mystique, minus the bothersome insects.

During their 2020 trip, it remains uncertain whether the couple stayed at Dolphin House.

However, the public has the opportunity to rent this six-bedroom house for a mere £59 per person, per night.

It's worth noting that the island can only be accessed by helicopter, as cars are not permitted.

Prince William and Princess Kate continue to create cherished memories with their children, exploring both far-flung destinations and hidden gems closer to home.
