In a surprising turn of events, the Queen has reportedly compelled Meghan Markle to hand back her wedding ring.

As the Duchess of Sussex made a swift exit from London's National Theatre, onlookers were taken aback by the absence of any rings on her finger.

It is said that Queen Elizabeth was so displeased with their decision to step away from royal duties that she insisted Prince Harry retrieve Meghan's wedding band.

An insider revealed that although the decision may have been impulsive and fueled by anger, technically, the Queen owns the ring.

Crafted from a rare Welsh gold nugget, the ring holds significant historical value, making some at Buckingham Palace question Meghan's worthiness of such a precious piece.

Speaking about the custom design, Prince Harry revealed that one diamond originated from Botswana, a country of personal significance to the couple, while the other two smaller stones were sourced from Princess Diana's collection.

He explained, “The ring is obviously yellow gold because that's Meghan's favorite, and the main stone itself is sourced from Botswana, and the little diamonds either side are from my mother's jewelry collection, to make sure that she's with us on this crazy journey together.”
