Rory McIlroy and Meghan Markle: A Rumored Romance

Irish golfer Rory McIlroy was once rumored to be romantically involved with Meghan Markle, according to author Emily Herbert in her new book, “Harry and Meghan, The Love Story.”

It was reported that the two had grown close around 2014, and there is evidence on social media to support this claim.

During the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge in 2014, McIlroy nominated Markle to participate.

She accepted the challenge, and in a video posted on her Instagram account, McIlroy poured a bucket of ice water over her head.

This playful interaction further fueled speculation about their relationship.

In the same year, McIlroy took part in the Ice Bucket Challenge himself, making several press stops with Tiger Woods.

However, it has since been learned that Markle has been in a relationship with a Canadian chef for several months, although they have kept their love life out of the public eye.

Her beau even flew to Ireland to be with her during her work with One Young World, and they were seen affectionate behind the scenes.

While McIlroy prefers to keep his personal life private, Markle seems smitten with her culinary love.

An insider revealed that her Canadian chef partner flew to Dublin to spend time with her, and the two were inseparable during their stay in Ireland.

McIlroy returned home, but it was merely a coincidence that they happened to be in the same place at the same time.

Since ending his engagement to tennis player Caroline Vosniaki in May, McIlroy has been linked to Irish models Sasha Gale and Nadia Ford, but he has not commented on any romance reports.
