Prince Harry Faces Calls to be Stripped of Titles Following Explosive Memoir

In a shocking turn of events, 's memoir, titled “Spare,” has sent shockwaves through the royal family as he revealed intimate details about his life within the firm and his decision to step back from his royal duties three years ago.

However, a recent poll conducted by Express.co.uk has revealed that readers strongly believe that Harry should be stripped of his titles.

Conservative commentator and former aide to Margaret Thatcher, Niall Gardiner, took to Twitter to express his belief that Prince Harry and do not deserve to carry royal titles.

Gardiner further stated that they have become the most unpopular and distrusted couple in modern British monarchy history.

Conservative MP Bob Seeley plans to introduce a private member's bill that could potentially strip Harry and Meghan of their titles by amending the 1917 Titles Deprivation Act.

This move has gained significant support from readers, as shown by the poll conducted by Express.co.uk.

Out of the 21,583 readers who participated, an overwhelming majority of 97% (20,906 people) voted in favor of Prince Harry losing his titles.

The comments section of the article accompanying the poll was filled with readers expressing their support for stripping Harry of his titles.

Many even suggested that he should also be removed from the line of succession.

Currently, Prince Harry is fifth in line, following his brother and William's children.

According to royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams, the couple's children, and , should be given HRH titles and entitled to be a prince and princess, based on protocols set by George V in 1917.

However, Fitzwilliams believes that following the allegations made against the firm by Harry, it is unlikely that they will receive these titles.

The decision ultimately lies with the future monarch.

Some argue against stripping Prince Harry of his titles, claiming it would only give him more attention.

Historian David Starkey suggests that Harry will naturally fade away from the public eye, as he is already declining in the order of succession.

Starkey believes it would be more satisfying to deny him the attention he seeks.

It is important to note that III does not possess the power to remove dukedoms.

To revoke the Sussex dukedom, an act of parliament must be passed to amend the law.
