Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Asked to Leave Frogmore Cottage as Prince Andrew Takes Their Place

In a surprising turn of events, and have been asked to vacate Frogmore Cottage by Archwell, the foundation established by the couple.

The news was confirmed in a statement released by the foundation, stating that the Duke and Duchess have been requested to leave their residence at Frogmore Cottage.

This development comes after reports that had asked the couple to move out in January, following the publication of Harry's memoir, Spare.

The book was highly critical of the royals and made damning allegations against some of the firm's senior members.

Despite permanently relocating to California with their young family in 2020, the Sussexes have continued to stay at Frogmore whenever they travel to the UK.

However, it seems that this will no longer be an option for them, as a property has been offered to instead.

has been living at the Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park, part of the Crown Estate, for over 20 years.

As part of the King's money-saving measures for the monarchy, Prince Andrew is having his annual $249,000 subsidy cut.

This would leave him struggling to afford reimbursements on the $30 million property, which are his responsibility as part of the tenancy agreement.

Meanwhile, Harry and Meghan spent $2.4 million on renovations in Frogmore Cottage when they moved in, a cost initially covered by the taxpayer before Harry repaid the amount in full.

The couple has reportedly already started moving their belongings from Frogmore to their home in Montecito, where they live with their children , three, and little Beth, one.

However, Prince Andrew is reportedly resisting leaving the Royal Lodge as he does not want to downsize.

This leaves the Sussexes without a permanent UK home, despite Frogmore Cottage being a gift to them from the late Queen following their marriage.

An insider told The Sun, “The eviction surely spells the end of Harry's and Meghan's time in the UK.

Andrew is resisting the idea of moving into Frogmore Cottage after he was offered it last week, but it shows Harry and Meghan are powerless to stop the eviction.”

This latest development further strains the relationship between the Sussexes and the rest of the royal family.

Harry and Meghan have been vocal about their struggles within the institution, alleging racism and neglect from the firm.

Their decision to step back as senior royals and move to America has been seen by some as a betrayal of their duties.

The news has generated significant interest and speculation among the public and media.

Many are questioning the motivations behind offering Prince Andrew a property, given the ongoing controversy surrounding his association with convicted s** offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Others are wondering what this means for the future of the monarchy, as it appears that the younger generation of royals are increasingly distancing themselves from traditional roles.

Whatever the outcome, it is clear that the drama surrounding the royal family is far from over.

The eviction of and Meghan from Frogmore Cottage, coupled with the possibility of Prince Andrew taking their place, is just the latest chapter in a long-running saga that shows no signs of ending anytime soon.
