Accompanying the message was a heartwarming video showcasing the band's performance of “Happy Birthday” in honor of Prince George's big day.

The Irish Guards hold a special significance for the Duke of Cambridge, as he has been serving as their Colonel since 2011.

The Duke even wore their uniform during his wedding to Catherine in the same year.

The video captured the band's trumpeters standing in a semi-circle, dressed in their full regalia, including their distinctive busby hats.

Their impressive performance took place right in front of Buckingham Palace, the Queen's London residence.

Royal biographer Katie Nicholl revealed that the Duchess of Cambridge usually makes an effort to create a truly special day for her son.

Nicholl explained, “George's birthday falls in the school holidays, so I would imagine it will be celebrated at Anmer Hall, and, in keeping with the past birthdays, it's usually spent with friends and family and is a pretty low-key affair.

Catherine bakes a cake, and they have people round to the house.
