Princess Charlotte Set to Receive New Royal Title, Reveals Renowned Author
Princess Charlotte, the middle child of the Prince and Princess of Wales, is expected to be bestowed with a new royal title in the future, as disclosed by esteemed author Robert Jobson.
In his upcoming book, set to be released this week, Jobson unveils that Prince Charles himself has already designated a significant role for Charlotte down the line.
Mindful of the fact that the future of nine-year-old Prince George is already predetermined, Charles has taken great care to ensure that Charlotte maintains an important position within the royal family.
According to Jobson's account, Charles has reserved one of the most prestigious titles for Princess Charlotte, who is presently affectionately called Lottie by her mother and Mignonette, a French term meaning “the cute little thing,” by her father.
Despite appointing his brother Edward as the new Duke of Edinburgh, this title is solely for Edward's lifetime.
Once Edward passes away, Charles has made it clear that Charlotte, now seven years old, will assume the role of Duchess of Edinburgh.
However, the book does not delve into what title may be bestowed upon Prince Louis, the youngest of Kate Middleton's three children, in the future.
Alongside meticulously planning Charlotte's future role, Charles is also believed to have engaged in discussions with his aides regarding the future of Meghan and Harry.
The continued use of their titles as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex has been a topic of high-level deliberation, as outlined in Jobson's book.
While the king is reportedly reluctant to remove their titles, despite pressure from palace officials, the idea of stripping Harry of his Duke of Sussex title has been contemplated at the highest level.
Although Charles may not support this notion, other senior royals are less lenient.
Ultimately, despite Charles' unwavering love for his son, he may face mounting pressure if Harry persists in his criticisms of the monarchy.
In such a scenario, the king would be left with two choices: tolerate the tarnishing of his reign or take measures to restrict its impact.
In essence, Harry and Meghan could potentially find themselves demoted to the status of Mr. and Mrs. Mountbatten of Windsor in Montecito, California.
