Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Wrap Up 2023 Invictus Games Amidst Controversy

and bid farewell to the 2023 Invictus Games with beaming smiles on their faces.

The grand finale, held at the Markus Spiele Arena in Dusseldorf, Germany on Saturday, September 16, featured an electrifying performance by Rita Ora.

However, reports suggest that both Ora and fellow performer Sam Ryder were dissatisfied with how the royal couple managed the event.

Surprisingly, only one photo of the four of them together was published by a tabloid, and neither Ora nor Ryder shared any pictures with Meghan and Harry on their social media accounts.

In fact, the first image related to Invictus on Ora's Instagram stories made no mention of the royal duo, and her forced happiness in the official Getty Picture with them spoke volumes.

Insiders confirmed that both performers had a great rapport with the show's host, Hadnet Tesfaye.

However, it seems that Tesfaye did not receive the same treatment from the Sussexes.

Born in Eritrea and raised in Germany, Tesfaye has been a prominent TV and radio presenter for nearly two decades.

It is disheartening to learn that she reportedly faced disrespect from Harry and Meghan, echoing the sentiments of Ora and Ryder.

Curiously, Tesfaye did not mention the Sussexes after the conclusion of the Invictus Games.

Instead, she took to her Instagram story to share a photo of Ora and Ryder with a discreet note of gratitude.

There is also evidence suggesting that Tesfaye experienced mistreatment from Meghan and Harry on stage.

Remember when Meghan actively campaigned to present the Life Stories segment during the closing ceremony?

Subsequently, Invictus announced that Tesfaye, an experienced German TV host, would moderate the segment.

Here's what transpired.

During the segment, Tesfaye conducted interviews with two family members on stage, the second being Anna Zofia, the daughter of Ukrainian competitor Tara Prasavica, who had been held captive by Russian forces and later released.

The interview was emotionally charged and handled with sensitivity by Tesfaye, garnering significant applause.

As Tesfaye expressed her gratitude to Anna Zofia, Harry abruptly rushed onto the stage and embraced her in a prolonged, full-body hug.

Tesfaye appeared taken aback but quickly regained her composure, exclaiming, “Look, oh my god, I was just about to introduce you.

But now that you're here.”

She then escorted Anna Zofia off the stage, exchanging a surprised glance with Harry, who sported a visible smirk.

Notably, Harry failed to mention Tesfaye by name, as scripted, effectively preventing her from formally introducing him.

It is likely that Meghan had insisted on this moment, and Harry's sudden intrusion ensured Tesfaye did not have the opportunity.

Furthermore, Harry's demeanor as he rushed onto the stage appeared aggressive, leaving Tesfaye visibly frightened.

Meghan, evidently upset that she wasn't given the chance to announce Harry herself, encouraged him to express his displeasure.

Harry's behavior was perceived as incredibly rude.

Despite Meghan's attempt to make a fashion statement with her strapless turquoise dress, it fell short, adding to the discontent and complaints surrounding their series of fashion mishaps and self-centered moments throughout the event.
