Meghan Markle’s Rude Behavior on Wedding Day Revealed by Author

The soon-to-be Duchess of Sussex, , faced a challenging moment on her wedding day when she displayed rudeness towards someone who could have offered their assistance, according to an author.

As the world eagerly awaited the first glimpse of Meghan in her Givenchy gown, she was seen inside a vintage Rolls-Royce limousine, accompanied by her mother, Doria Ragland, as they made their way from Cliveden House Hotel to Windsor Castle on the morning of May 19th, 2018.

The palace had previously announced that Doria would ride with Meghan to the chapel, but surprisingly, Meghan asked her mother to leave the car before reaching the church, making her walk into the church alone.

Despite having the opportunity to give her mother the honor of accompanying her, Meghan chose to walk half of the way by herself.

Royal biographer Tom Bower revealed that Meghan encountered difficulties with her veil and train, but her struggles were ignored by an army officer who was nearby.

Meghan's veil, which was over five meters long and made from silk tulle organza, proved to be a challenge as she tried to exit the car and ascend the steps of St George's Chapel.

Bower shared an extraordinary story told to him by a military man who witnessed Meghan's arrival at Windsor Castle on that glorious day in 2018.

The witness recounted how Meghan stepped out of the car unaccompanied, facing problems with her dress, and the army officer failed to offer his assistance.

The reason given was that it was the day before the wedding and rush hour, which made it difficult for Meghan to exit the car and climb the steps.

As Meghan emerged from the car, it appeared that her veil had become twisted.

An aide and a hairdresser quickly rushed to help her, and two page boys eventually assisted her up the stairs into the chapel, carrying her five-meter-long train.

The veil featured a hand-embroidered trim of flowers and silk threads, showcasing the distinctive flora of each of the then 53 Commonwealth countries.

Observers noted that Meghan seemed to be in a distressed state as she made her way up the steps.

Initially, Meghan had expressed a desire to walk alone, but she was persuaded that it would be more fitting for Prince Charles to accompany her.

However, even with Charles by her side, Meghan only allowed him to escort her part of the way, unwilling to share the spotlight, even with the future king.

Royal biographer Robert Hardman, in his book “Queen of Our Times, The Life of Elizabeth II,” shed some light on the events surrounding Meghan's walk down the aisle.

Initially, it was believed that Doria Ragland would accompany Meghan to St George's Chapel, but Prince Charles intervened.

However, according to Hardman's book, Meghan's response to Charles' offer was unexpected.

She requested that they meet halfway down the aisle, indicating her desire to make a grand entrance alone.

This incident portrays Meghan as a confident and independent woman determined to make her mark.

It raises questions about her behavior on her wedding day and suggests that she was not the traditional, demure bride.

Perhaps Charles, who had offered to escort Meghan, may have wondered if this decision was a greater mistake than marrying Diana, especially considering Diana's loyalty to the monarchy.
