Meghan Markle: The Journey to Royal Love

, the American actress-turned-duchess, had her sights set firmly on finding a British suitor.

After her divorce from husband Trevor Angleson in August 2013, she wasn't interested in diving back into the American dating scene.

Instead, she saw the UK as the perfect place to find something better.

In her quest for a British man, Meghan made frequent trips across the pond.

In 2015, just before signing on for the West End musical Memphis, Meghan caught the eye of Mr. Matt Carl.

She complimented him on his Instagram account, and to his surprise, he responded.

They exchanged messages, and she even suggested a meeting, but unfortunately, he ghosted her.

However, this setback didn't deter Meghan from her mission.

It was Marcus Anderson, a familiar face in 's social circle, who introduced her to .

Marcus, the global membership director of the swanky members club group Soho House, had known Meghan for several years and was reportedly her closest friend.

He had worked his way up from being a waiter, and in 2014, he was named one of Toronto Life's most influential figures.

Marcus and Harry had frequented the exclusive members club, where Marcus worked, on several occasions.

They were known for their wild times together, including the infamous incident in Las Vegas.

However, they were cautious about associating with individuals they perceived as social climbers, like Meghan.

Harry's best friend, known as Skippy, strongly opposed his relationship with Meghan.

Skippy disapproved because Meghan had once been a yacht girl, and he had actually hired her.

Even before she met Harry, Skippy had tied the knot with his childhood friend, Tom Skip, in Montego Bay, Jamaica, with Harry serving as an usher.

However, when Harry broke up with Meghan and attended the wedding alone, Meghan allegedly arranged a private jet for herself and gate crashed the party.

Pictures from the event depicted a strained relationship between Harry and Meghan.

Harry ended up inebriated, dancing solo and making a fool of himself.

It seemed that from that point on, Meghan had a firm grip on Harry and continued to exert control over him.

Despite the reservations of his closest friends, Harry and Meghan tied the knot in May 2018.

Skippy, along with other close friends, attended the church service and reception.

However, many of them were snubbed and not invited to the private evening party at Frogmore.

Skippy, who had been inseparable from Harry since their days at Eden, advised Harry and Meghan to live together before making any significant commitments.

His advice came from a place of concern, but interpreted it as a lack of trust in his judgment.

Even expressed his own reservations about Meghan, advising Harry not to rush into anything.

The consequence of this was that Skippy and his wife, Laura, were reportedly punished by not being invited to the wedding party at Frogmore Cottage.

Skippy's prior acquaintance with Meghan Markle and his understanding of the party scene likely played a role in his cautionary stance.

His warnings to Harry about ending the relationship were rooted in their shared experience and his insights into Meghan's world long before she met Prince Harry.
