The Duchess of Cambridge’s Genius Hack for Keeping High Heels in Place

The Duchess of Cambridge, , is known for her impeccable style and her signature n^de hosiery.

It should come as no surprise then that she has a brilliant trick up her sleeve to prevent her high heels from slipping off when she wears them.

According to reports, the 36-year-old royal relies on John Lewis non-slip tights to keep her shoes securely in place.

These tights feature built-in ribbed grips that provide the necessary traction.

And the best part?

They retail for just £5 ($7) and come in black, nude, and tan.

Evidence of Kate's clever hack can be seen in a close-up photo taken during her visit to the Sainte-Justine University Hospital in Montreal back in 2011.

The picture reveals the clear silicone grip peeking out from the side of her heels.

It's worth noting that Kate has been a longtime shopper at the John Lewis department store Peter Jones.

So, it's highly likely that she came across these non-slip tights during one of her visits.

In the past, there were speculations that the Duchess might have been wearing Woolford's sheer non-slip tights.

However, the brand no longer produces its sheer 15 tights with built-in grips.

As a member of the royal family, Kate is expected to adhere to certain protocols.

It is believed that the Queen requires women in the family to wear stockings at public events.

While Kate has occasionally worn black tights, n^de hosiery has become her signature look.

Royal expert Victoria Arbiter explained, “You never see a royal without their n^de stockings.

I would say that's really the only hard, steadfast rule in terms of what the Queen requires.”

Interestingly, the Duchess of Sussex, , broke tradition by not wearing tights for her engagement announcement with in November.

However, she did wear them to attend a garden party at Buckingham Palace in May, shortly after her wedding.

It was her first official engagement as a royal, and she opted for n^de tights, just like her sister-in-law.

However, some critics pointed out that the hosiery didn't match Meghan's skin tone and called for designers to offer more options for women with darker skin.

Now that Meghan has embraced the n^de stockings trend, it is likely that she and Kate will exchange hosiery hacks.
