Royal Family Reunion: Queen Camilla Meets Great-Grandson’s Twins

Queen Camilla, aged 76, embarked on a royal visit to the Isle of Man recently to confer city status upon the Douglas region.

This distinguished event saw the Queen delivering a speech on behalf of King Charles and formalizing the matter by filing a patent.

During her departure from the Douglas Borough Council, Queen Camilla took the time to engage with well-wishers, including a heartwarming encounter with Rachel Hughes and her 15-week-old twins, Louis and Oliver.

Expressing her delight, the Queen mentioned her relationship with Louis, stating, “I have grandchildren from Louis.”

This statement led to speculation among royal enthusiasts, with some assuming she was referring to Prince Louis, the courageous five-year-old son of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

However, Buckingham Palace promptly clarified that the Queen was actually referring to her grandson Luis Lopez, as confirmed in an update to the original story by a popular magazine.

Queen Camilla's family tree includes two children from her first marriage to Andrew Parker Bowles, making her a grandmother of five.

Her daughter Laura Lopez shares twin sons Louis and Gus, aged 14, along with daughter Eliza, 16, with husband Harry Lopez.

Additionally, her son Tom Parker Bowles has a son Freddie, 14, and daughter Lola, 16, from his previous marriage to Sarah Parker Bowles.

Notably, all of the Queen's children and grandchildren, who typically maintain a low profile, participated in her coronation at Westminster Abbey in May 2023, playing special roles in the momentous occasion.

The coronation ceremony witnessed Louis, Gus, and Freddie donning uniforms as pages of honour for their grandmother, Queen Camilla, and King Charles.

This symbolic crowning event occurred seven months after King Charles ascended to the throne in September 2022.

Despite facing a minor setback when Gus broke his arm shortly before the ceremony, he valiantly fulfilled his duties as a robe-bearer.

Joining the page of honour alongside Queen Camilla was her great-nephew, Arthur Elliot, creating a memorable and heartwarming scene.

Following the service at Westminster Abbey, where Prince George served as a page of honour for his grandfather, King Charles, all the young boys, including Louis, Gus, Freddie, and Arthur, gathered on the balcony of Buckingham Palace with the King and Queen.
