Meghan Markle Dropped by Spotify: A Royal Misstep

In a string of unfortunate events for the Duke and Duchess of Hazzard, Harry and Meghan, things seem to be going from bad to worse.

While we celebrate the official birthday of III with the Trooping of the Colour, the couple across the pond is facing another setback.

The latest development, among many others, involves being dropped by Spotify.

Reports suggest that a senior Spotify executive, Bill Simmons, referred to Harry and Meghan as “grifters” in an episode of his podcast.

This derogatory term refers to individuals engaged in small-scale swindling.

With this comment, the rug has finally been pulled from under their lucrative deal, the one they announced when they decided to leave the UK, playing the race card and leaving II with the false belief that the world saw the royal family as racist.

Clearly, this couldn't be further from the truth.

The decision to drop appears to be a result of the couple failing to meet the productivity benchmark set by the streaming giant.

It's been described as a mutual decision, but the implications are clear.

Even if I were in charge of Spotify, I would also cut my losses.

Who wants to listen to a privileged couple sharing their tales of woe?

And in Meghan's case, who wants to hear her talk over a guest, leveraging her connections rather than her skills as a podcaster?

Let's face it, what more could they possibly tell us that hasn't already been said?

And who would even be interested?

Instead of using their platform to promote a positive message filled with love, joy, and hope, Harry and Meghan embarked on a self-sabotaging mission.

They didn't have to do anything at all.

The Spotify contract alone could have earned them £20 million, which pales in comparison to the value of being royal.

However, the contract was terminated without full payment.

The Markle Count claims that everyone involved was proud of the series they created together.

But Bill Simmons, the Spotify podcast executive, begs to differ.

He even teases about sharing a story of a Zoom call with Harry, where he tried to help him with a podcast idea.

It seems like there's more to this story, and many are eager to hear it.

The Royal Family brings billions to the country, attracting people from all over the world who are enamored by their pomp and pageantry.

We excel in this area, and it's something I personally love.

So why would anyone be foolish enough to trade the privileges of royalty for reality TV?

It's simply hilarious.
