Royal Shock: Queen Camilla Cancels London Trip to Support King Charles

In a surprising twist of events, Queen has made the unexpected decision to cancel her trip to London in order to stand by her husband, , who is set to undergo surgery for an enlarged prostate.

Currently residing at Birkenhall, Charles's Scottish residence on the Balmoral estate, the royal couple is preparing for the upcoming medical procedure, with Charles under strict orders to rest until then.

Addressing the growing concerns regarding the King's health, reassured the public that Charles is in good spirits and looking forward to resuming his duties.

The unforeseen announcement was made by Buckingham Palace on Wednesday, revealing that Charles had been diagnosed with a benign prostate condition following the onset of symptoms.

The official statement from the royal household highlighted the common nature of such conditions, noting that like many men each year, the King had sought treatment for an enlarged prostate.

It was confirmed that his condition is benign, and he is scheduled to undergo a corrective procedure at the hospital next week, leading to a temporary postponement of his public engagements for a brief period of recovery.

Breaking away from tradition, Charles chose to share details of his health struggles in a bid to encourage other men experiencing similar symptoms to seek medical help.

This decision appeared to have a significant impact, as evidenced by a substantial surge in visits to the prostate enlargement website page, with an astonishing 11-fold increase in traffic within just one day.

Moreover, Prostate Cancer UK's online risk checker also experienced a surge in usage, with a remarkable 97% rise compared to the previous week during the same period.

Chiara Sabiezi, the Director of Support and Influencing at the charity, expressed gratitude to the King for shedding light on his condition, underscoring the crucial importance of raising awareness about prostate health.

Providing insights into the royal family's response, Cameron Walker, GB News' royal correspondent, indicated that while the Queen and other family members are expected to continue with their responsibilities, the question of whether councillors of state will step in for the King remains uncertain.
