Suits Creator Snubs Meghan Markle for Spin-Off Series

Meghan Markle, widely known for her role as Rachel Zane on the popular show Suits, was left disheartened upon discovering that her character would not be making a return in the upcoming Suits reboot.

The show's creator, Aaron Korsh, is currently working on a spin-off titled Suits LA, featuring a fresh set of characters.

Surprisingly, Meghan was not even considered for a comeback, despite speculation about her return to acting.

Rachel Harris, a close friend of Korsh, directly inquired about Meghan's involvement in the new show.

Shockingly, it was made crystal clear that Meghan did not fit into Korsh's vision for the spin-off.

It seems unbelievable that Korsh did not even contemplate inviting Meghan back, considering her significant contribution to the original series.

Korsh's decision to exclude Meghan from Suits LA suggests his intention to establish a distinct identity for the spin-off, detached from Meghan's previous stardom.

However, given Rachel's pivotal role in the original show, it appears rather dubious that her character is being sidelined in this manner.

The disconnect between Meghan and her former co-stars, such as Patrick J Adams, who played her love interest on Suits, is becoming more apparent.

Adams recently disclosed that he no longer maintains contact with Meghan and feels reluctant to reconnect with her.

This pattern of distancing extends to Meghan's former best friend, Gina Torres, also from Suits.

Despite their once close relationship, Torres hinted at a loss of connection with Meghan following her royal wedding.

It seems that Meghan's ascent to royalty has led her to leave behind those who supported her journey.

Gina Torres, renowned for her portrayal of Jessica Pearson in Suits, was among the first cast members asked about her interactions with Meghan after the show's success last year.

During a red carpet interview at the Golden Globes in January 2024, Torres discussed a mini-reunion with the cast and their communication leading up to the event.

The absence of communication with Meghan was evident, indicating a growing divide between the former colleagues.

In a separate interview, Suits stars Gabriel Macht and Patrick J Adams, who were present at Meghan's wedding and played crucial roles on the show, shared insights on their current relationship with Meghan.

Macht expressed appreciation for Meghan's support of the show's resurgence but admitted to minimal direct communication with her.
