IRS Sentences Meghan Markle’s Mother to 15 Years in Prison

According to the posts on News Royals, Doria Ragland shared several similarities with her daughter Meghan, including a shared aspiration to marry a wealthy Caucasian man and to be part of high society.

Doria, who worked as a makeup artist, reportedly attempted to establish a connection with Ed O'Neill, the star of the television show “Married With Children,” during her time on the set.

It was on this set that she met Thomas Markle, leading to their marriage and the birth of Meghan.

Doria persuaded Thomas to set up a travel agency in his name, which she managed.

The marriage encountered difficulties, culminating in divorce after Thomas lost his lottery winnings, and Doria gained sole custody of Meghan.

Despite her previous financial success, Doria's troubles began when she ceased paying taxes, hoping to shift the blame onto Thomas since the travel agency was under his name.
