Mysterious Ownership of Montecito Olive Garden Raises Questions About Meghan and Harry’s Residence

Rumors have been circulating that and did not actually purchase the Montecito Olive Garden in 2020.

Speculation among royal fans suggests that someone else may own the property, with the couple merely renting it.

A post on Quora by a man claiming to have bought the mansion adds fuel to the fire, stating that Harry and Meghan are separated.

Furthermore, reports indicate that Harry has been staying in hotels several times a week to take a break from his wife, .

It seems Harry is beginning to realize the toll Meghan's demanding nature has taken on him, and these breaks offer him some much-needed respite.

Adding to the intrigue, a YouTube video suggests that the Olive Garden mansion can be rented for filming purposes.

Interestingly, when the couple first purchased the property, it was listed as a rentable filming location.

Some speculated at the time that Harry and Meghan never actually owned the mansion and only rented it for appearances.

Others theorized that the previous owner had listed it as rentable to recoup some money while it remained vacant.

Perhaps the couple, in their laziness or willingness, neglected to remove the listings or quietly continued to rent it for filming.

The same YouTube personality also shared insights from someone living near the property who believes that the couple does not reside there.

This individual visited the mansion and took photographs, revealing an abandoned appearance.

This observation suggests that the couple may not have the financial means to maintain the landscape.

Public records from Montecito Santa Barbara County, CA indicate that the sale of the Montecito Olive Garden took place on June 9th, 2020.

The seller was Rockbridge LLC, which, according to Google research, is linked to Sergei Grishin, also known as Scarface the Oligarch, a Russian billionaire who was going through a highly publicized divorce at the time.

In 2020, Sergei's ex-girlfriend revealed unsavory details about him to the Daily Mail.

Conflicting information regarding the property can be found online.

Some websites indicate that the property is pending sale, while others claim it is available or unavailable.

Interestingly, the last recorded sale of the property dates back to 2009, suggesting that the couple never actually owned it.

If they did reside there, it is possible they were only renting.

Several articles also suggest that the couple rented the house while living at Soho House and various hotels.

This would explain why only one room in Montecito was used and photographed and why no one was present in the house when passed away, despite attempts by the royal family to inform Harry.

Moreover, the couple borrowed a luxurious Montecito estate to film their Netflix series instead of using their own mansion.

According to Dirt, the mansion featured in the show is located approximately 3.5 miles away from Harry and Meghan's current residence.

Although the two houses share similar designs, with both even featuring a chicken coop, the borrowed mansion has a beach California cool vibe.

The Mail on Sunday reports that the property in question is located at 888 Lilac Drive in the Sussex's adopted hometown.

It is currently on the market for an impressive $33.5 million.

In contrast, the couple's own mansion cost $14 million.

The listing for the Lilac Drive house boasts breathtaking ocean views, expansive grounds, luxurious amenities, and impeccable design, all epitomizing the California dream.

However, the property does come with its own controversy, as one of its former owners faced charges of fundraising fraud, ultimately reaching a settlement in 2014.

Nevertheless, it cannot be denied that the house is an impressive piece of real estate.

Nonetheless, the Sussex's own mansion is far from a dreadful place to live, boasting a staggering 16 bathrooms.

The mystery surrounding the ownership of the Montecito Olive Garden raises questions about Meghan and Harry's true residence.
