During a discussion on the Palace Confidential, English explained that Princess Anne wore a military dress to the Queen's funeral because it was a state funeral and fulfilled one of the Queen's wishes.

English commended Anne's appearance, stating that she looked magnificent and hinted at the possibility of more military honors in the future.

Richard Eden, the Daily Mail's Diary Editor, also joined the conversation and mentioned that Princess Anne has the right to wear military dress as an honorary coroner.

English reiterated this point, emphasizing that it was a state funeral and all of the Queen's children participated in it.

Notably, Prince Andrew was only allowed to attend part of the proceedings.

Throughout her years of royal service, Princess Anne has carried out her duties without seeking attention or praise.

As Queen Elizabeth's only daughter, she has been a tremendous support to her mother, especially during the final years of her 70-year reign.

Princess Anne was chosen to accompany her mother's coffin on its final journey, a testament to the close bond they shared.

In a statement released by Buckingham Palace, Princess Anne expressed her gratitude for being able to spend the last 24 hours of her mother's life by her side.

She considered it an honor and privilege to accompany Queen Elizabeth on her final journeys.

Mark Dolan, a presenter on GB News, recently praised Princess Anne, referring to her as King Charles' secret weapon and his right-hand woman.

Dolan commended her experience, energy, enthusiasm, wise judgment, charm, and the respect she commands from the British people, stating that these qualities will serve the King well.
