King Charles ‘agreed to Archie and Lilibet’s titles BEFORE Harry’s memoir was published’
King Charles reportedly agreed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's children should use their royal titles before Harry's controversial memoir hit shelves.
It is believed that the issue surrounding titles for Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet was settled between father and son in late 2022 – a month before Spare was published.
However, it was just yesterday that it came to light that this had taken place following a statement that confirmed Harry and Meghan's young daughter Lilibet had been christened.
Harry did not hold back in his criticisms of the royals in his book alleging he had a physical altercation with his older brother Prince William.

He also made a string of claims against the King's wife Queen Camilla saying she was responsible for leaking stories to the press.
The Duke also referred to the Queen Consort as “the villain” in TV interviews promoting Spare.
But according to Hello!, conversations regarding the titles took place and were agreed upon before Spare's release – and the details in it emerged.
Rules set out by King George V in 1917 as the children of a son of a sovereign, they are automatically a prince and a princess.
However, it is understood Lili's title of princess and Archie's title as a prince will be used in formal settings, but not in everyday conversational use by the couple.
A spokesman for the couple said: “The children's titles have been a birthright since their grandfather became Monarch. This matter has been settled for some time in alignment with Buckingham Palace.”
Today, the royal family's official website has been updated to these new titles.
Archie and Lilibet are now listed on royal.uk's line of succession page as Prince Archie of Sussex and Princess Lilibet of Sussex.
Previously they were Master Archie Mountbatten-Windsor and Miss Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor. The siblings are sixth and seventh in line to the throne.
However, a source claimed that Harry and Meghan were “frustrated” Buckingham Palace failed to immediately recognise their children as prince and princess.
They said: “It's no secret among their friends Harry and Megan were frustrated Buckingham Palace failed to immediately recognise Archie and Lilibet's elevated status on its website.
“It was compounded further when the Prince and Princess of Wales's titles, and those of their children, were swiftly changed following the Queen's death in September.”
