King Charles III and Queen Camilla Greet Public in Buckingham Palace Balcony Appearance
Following their official coronation, King Charles III and Queen Camilla made a grand appearance on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to greet their adoring public.
The royal couple was accompanied by Prince William and Kate Middleton, along with their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
It was a joyous occasion as the entire family came together to celebrate this historic event.
Joining the festivities were other working royals, including Charles' siblings, Anne, Princess Royal, and Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh, along with their children.
However, one notable absence from the royal photo-op was Charles' younger son, Prince Harry.
While he attended the coronation to support his estranged father, he sat with his cousins and did not have an official role in the ceremony.
During the coronation proceedings, Prince Harry sat alongside Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, engaging in cheerful conversations.
He even joined in reciting “God Save King Charles” after his father's crowning and sang along to “God Save the King” as the monarch processed out of Westminster Abbey.
After the ceremony, Harry was seen leaving Westminster Abbey in a black BMW sedan.
ET had the opportunity to speak with royal expert Eloise Parker prior to the coronation, who provided some insights into the dynamics between Harry and Charles during the event.
According to Parker, it was expected that Prince Harry would take a backseat during the ceremony, as the focus was primarily on King Charles III and the Queen Consort.
Even Prince William and Kate, the Prince and Princess of Wales, were expected to be on the sidelines.
It was recently revealed that Prince Harry would be attending the coronation alone, while his wife Meghan Markle and their two children, Archie and Lily, remained in California.
This decision raised some eyebrows, but Parker explained that it coincided with Archie's birthday, making it convenient for Meghan to stay home and celebrate.
While Harry kept a low profile during the coronation, it is difficult to believe that there was no tension present, considering the intimate revelations he made about the family in his book.
Parker emphasized that the family dynamics were undoubtedly affected by these revelations.
