Princess Catherine of Wales Shines in Queen Elizabeth’s Jewelry Collection

Princess Catherine of Wales, known for her impeccable style, recently paid a subtle tribute to her late grandmother-in-law, II, as she joined for a date night at the Noel Coward Theatre.

The Princess added a touch of glamour to her black eponine tweed dress with a pair of dazzling diamond chandelier earrings from Her Majesty's Jewelry Collection.

These show-stopping earrings, previously worn by herself, caught the light and elevated Catherine's otherwise pared-back look.

The Princess has been seen wearing these stunning jewels to various black-tie occasions, including a reception in Paris and the Tusk Conservation Awards.

But this is not the first time Catherine has donned jewelry that once belonged to Queen Elizabeth.

On Remembrance Sunday this year, she debuted a pair of diamond and pearl leaf earrings previously seen on the Queen during a visit to Nigeria in 2003.

Experts speculate that these earrings may have been detachable pieces from a brooch featuring a similar design.

Another notable piece from Queen Elizabeth's collection is the festoon necklace commissioned by King George VI.

Featuring 105 loose diamonds, the necklace was worn by the monarch on numerous occasions, from state banquets to official portraits.

Princess Catherine paid tribute to her late Majesty by wearing this necklace for the official coronation photograph when III ascended the throne.

The Princess of Wales also honored Queen Elizabeth by wearing her famous three-strand pearl necklace during a Buckingham Palace lunch for the Governor's General of the Commonwealth Nations prior to the monarch's funeral.

This iconic piece was a favorite of Queen Elizabeth and held significant sentimental value.

Additionally, Catherine has been spotted wearing a jaw-dropping diamond necklace by Cartier, which was a wedding gift to the then-Princess Elizabeth from the Nizam of Hyderabad in 1947.

This necklace, featuring a beautiful rose motif, was personally chosen by the royal and paired with a matching floral tiara.

The Princess of Wales first wore this statement piece at a gala for the National Portrait Gallery in 2014 and later at a Buckingham Palace reception for the Diplomatic Corps in 2019.

Lastly, Catherine has embraced Queen Elizabeth's diamond and pearl earrings, which were first seen during the Silver Jubilee celebrations in 1977.

The Princess has worn these earrings on multiple occasions, including after the birth of in 2018 and while visiting Commonwealth troops prior to the Queen's funeral.
