Meghan Markle Faces Questioning Over Royal Discrimination in Defamation Lawsuit

Meghan Markle, currently residing in the United States with her husband Prince Harry, may soon have to answer questions regarding the identity of those within the royal family who allegedly made discriminatory remarks.

This comes as part of a defamation lawsuit filed against her by her half-sister Samantha Markle.

In a widely-publicized interview with Oprah Winfrey earlier this year, Meghan claimed to have grown up as an only child and had limited contact with her sibling.

Samantha's lawyer, Peter Tickton, has stated that he will request both the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to undergo a deposition, which would involve being interviewed under oath.

During the deposition, Meghan and Prince Harry could potentially be questioned about the alleged comments made by members of the royal family regarding the skin color of their unborn son, Archie, as reported by The Sun.

In the Dutch translation of his book “Endgame,” writer Omid Scobie identified King Charles and Princess Kate as the individuals who inquired about the potential skin tone of Archie.

Samantha Markle claims to have faced worldwide hatred, contempt, and ridicule as a result of Meghan and Harry's remarks in the Netflix series and the Oprah interview.

Mr. Tickton argues that the issue of royal discrimination needs to be thoroughly investigated, stating, “There are reasons why she abandoned her family and turned on her family.

This is a person who wants to be able to say horrible things and not really care if she destroyed the lives of people in her family.

She doesn't care if she destroys the monarchy.”

Mr. Tickton further alleges that Meghan's legal team has been uncooperative in providing requested information for the case, hoping that it would lead to dismissal.

However, he plans to file a motion next month, demanding the submission of relevant documents.

Both Meghan and Harry have been approached for comment, but have yet to respond.

Samantha Markle, like many others in similar situations, believes that she needs to persistently seek resolution.

This explains her current lawsuit against Meghan.

Throughout her career in broadcasting, acting, and modeling, Samantha's nomadic lifestyle led her to stay in a spare room at Thomas' place.

Sam chose a $300 ring, to which Meghan responded, “Babe, Sam's nickname, you're not getting that ring.”

While Sam does not necessarily need to be wealthier than Meghan, she possesses talents and opportunities that Meghan may envy.

For instance, Sam can produce a movie, write a book, or participate in Hollywood rituals that Meghan desires to be part of.

Sam could emphasize Thomas' success by posting pictures of his Emmy Awards, highlighting his achievements over Meghan's.

Additionally, sharing happy family Christmas photos without mentioning Meghan could help her father move on and forget about his strained relationship with Meghan.
