Secret Royal Rivalry: George, Charlotte, and Louis Compete Against Zarathindle Kids
The younger members of the royal family have always shared a close bond, but it seems that Prince William's children, George, Charlotte, and Louis, have developed a particularly tight relationship with their cousin Zarathindle's kids.
While they enjoy each other's company, there's an underlying sense of competition when it comes to games and playtime.
Zarathindle's children, Mia, aged 9, and Lina, aged 5, love spending time with their royal relatives.
However, Zara has previously acknowledged that a competitive spirit can emerge among them.
This doesn't come as a surprise, considering their mother's background as an Olympic equestrian and their father's former rugby career.
Mia and Lina have inherited their parents' drive to excel.
It's no secret that Prince William and Princess Kate's three children also possess a competitive streak, much like their parents.
Zara recently revealed in an interview with Australian Women's Weekly that their kids frequently engage in friendly competition.
She shared, “‘Our kids play together, and there's definitely some healthy competition going on.”
The families often come together for these spirited activities.
Mike, Zara's husband, chimed in, emphasizing the positive aspects of competition.
He stated, “‘I think competition, when approached in the right way, is incredibly beneficial.
It motivates people to strive for improvement.
Athletes, for instance, are driven to exercise and give their all.
It's a necessary element.”
Zara, the renowned Olympic silver medalist from 2012, agreed, saying, “‘I believe our families are quite competitive.'”
During the interview, the couple also acknowledged that their children can become frustrated when things don't go their way.
Mike mentioned their eldest daughter Mia, who will turn 10 soon, saying, “‘Mia isn't a fan of losing at the moment.
And now that Lena is old enough, she's starting to put pressure on Mia because there's a small age gap.
Then Lucas, our newborn son, will be even more determined to catch up with them all the time.
It's definitely present in our family.”
Princess Charlotte, in particular, shares a strong bond with Mia and Lina.
Lena is the same age as Prince Louis, while Mia is just six months younger than George.
Discussing their relationship, Mike spoke to The Telegraph, saying, “‘Lena and Louis are around the same age, and Mia falls between Charlotte and George.
We also have Peter's children, Savannah and Isla, who are slightly older.
Prince Edward's son, James, is the oldest, but not quite the ringleader.
It's going to be a lovely little group, for sure.'”
