In the wake of the passing of the beloved Queen, is set to take on a significant new role within the royal family.

As the granddaughter of the late monarch, has been affected by the changes in titles and responsibilities that have emerged following the Queen's untimely demise at the age of 96.

These reforms have also led to the creation of a notable new role for Princess Beatrice, one of the Queen's cherished granddaughters.

Before the Queen's passing, Charles, William, , and Prince Andrew served as councillors of state.

This position allowed them to assume the responsibilities of the monarch in the event that she was unable to fulfill her duties due to illness or absence abroad.

According to the law, councillors of state include the monarch's spouse and the top four individuals in the line of succession who are at least 21 years old.

With Charles now serving as King, William, Harry, Andrew, (the Queen Consort), and Beatrice have become the new councillors of state.

These individuals are authorized to carry out a majority of the official tasks of the sovereign, such as attending privy council meetings, signing routine paperwork, and receiving the credentials of new ambassadors to the United Kingdom, as stated on the royal family website.

However, they are not permitted to delegate Commonwealth concerns, create peers, appoint a prime minister, or dissolve Parliament unless specifically directed by the monarch.

Princess Beatrice, as one of the Queen's eight grandchildren, has always held her grandmother in high regard.

Growing up in close proximity to Windsor Castle, Beatrice and her sister were known to have a strong bond with the Queen.

In an interview with Hello magazine, Beatrice expressed her admiration for her grandmother, stating, “I find my grandmother inspiring every day because her immense sense of duty is paired with an insatiable curiosity.”

She praised the Queen's genuine curiosity and desire to make a positive impact in the world.

The special connection between granddaughter and grandmother was particularly evident on Beatrice's wedding day in July 2020.

Due to strict Covid regulations, the ceremony was held in a more intimate setting, with only a few guests in attendance.

The Queen and were among those present, and Beatrice even wore a gown borrowed from the Queen for the occasion.

The dress had been worn by the Queen at several prestigious events in the 1960s and was designed by Norman Hartnell.

Recently, Lady Louise Windsor, seen alongside her sister Eugenie, appeared downcast as they arrived at the Church of Balmoral.

The nation was shocked to learn of the Queen's passing on Thursday evening at her Scottish estate.

Since then, members of the Royal Family have gathered to pay their respects, attending a prayer meeting at the nearby Crathie Kirk.

The Queen often visited this small chapel during her stays at Balmoral.

Outside the estate, well-wishers gathered as the Royal Family was transported to the church.

Upon their return from the service, the Royal Family took a moment to appreciate the flowers left by well-wishers.

They bid farewell to visitors at the gates before reentering the castle grounds.

Buckingham Palace officially announced the Queen's passing at 6:30 pm on Thursday, releasing a brief yet solemn statement that read, “The Queen passed away peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon.”

The King and the Queen Consort will spend the evening and the following day at Balmoral before returning to London.

During a meeting of the Accession Council on Saturday at St James Palace, Prince Charles was solemnly proclaimed as the new King.

This momentous occasion marked the beginning of a new chapter in the history of the British monarchy.
