Meghan Markle’s Career Setback: Ex-Husband Trevor Angleson Unwilling to Collaborate

, the Duchess of Sussex, has recently faced a career setback in her attempt to reconnect with her ex-husband, Trevor Angleson.

Hoping to secure a role in one of his TV series, Markle's request hit a roadblock as Angleson has evidently moved on from their past relationship and is currently enjoying considerable success and financial stability.

According to a close friend who recently crossed paths with Angleson, he has thrived since their divorce, amassing more resources than Markle.

Angleson is currently immersed in pursuing his passion for filmmaking while maintaining a low profile, steering clear of the spotlight.

At 46, he has witnessed a remarkable upswing in both his personal and professional life.

Angleson has been happily married since 2019 to Tracy Carlin, a dietician whose late father left behind a substantial fortune in the mortgage industry.

They are now parents to two young daughters and reside in an upscale Los Angeles neighborhood in a spacious home.

In recent years, Angleson's management and production company, Underground, based in Beverly Hills, has achieved significant success.

One of their notable creations is the hit TV crime drama series Snowfall, which ran for six seasons and featured British actor Damzen Idris.

Furthermore, a spinoff show is currently in development, further solidifying Angleson's stature in the entertainment industry.

Given his influential connections and established presence in Hollywood, it seems likely that Markle may have to work with Angleson again if she aims to make a serious comeback in acting.

Interestingly, Markle's decision to live in Montecito, close to Angleson's family, might have a strategic motive.

Unlike many others in Hollywood, Angleson has been an outspoken advocate of the current actor's writer's strike.

He is known for his down-to-earth demeanor and generosity, such as delivering coffee and donuts to picket lines during the strike.

Notably, Angleson prefers to keep his acts of kindness discreet.

His life today stands in stark contrast to the years he spent with Markle.

They met in 2004 at a Hollywood bar and quickly fell in love, eventually moving in together.

After dating for seven years, they tied the knot on a Jamaican Beach in 2011.

Thomas Markle, Meghan's estranged father, fondly recalls Angleson, saying, “I really liked Trevor.

He got to know my mother, and he has always been so kind and supportive.

He was a perfect gentleman to my daughter and treated me with great respect.”

However, has never had the opportunity to meet his father-in-law.

Angleson shared a warm bond with both Thomas and Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland.

Thomas added, “He treated Meg so well and was always so kind and respectful to Doria and myself.

Meghan loves to entertain, so he'd be invited for meals on special occasions.

I enjoyed Trevor's company very much throughout the marriage.”

Angleson played a pivotal role in boosting Markle's confidence and offered steadfast support as she pursued her acting career.

His unwavering support became evident when Markle landed her breakthrough role as paralegal Rachel Zane in the TV series Suits, which eventually ran for nine seasons.

A friend who knew them as a couple stated, “Trevor was always loyal to Meghan, and she got Suits.

He was her biggest cheerleader.”

As Markle faces this setback in her career aspirations, it remains to be seen whether she can overcome the challenges and make a successful comeback.
