Harry and Meghan Enjoy Family Getaway in Costa Rica: What We Know So Far
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, along with their two children, recently embarked on a family vacation to the beautiful country of Costa Rica.
The couple, as confirmed by Meghan's PR agency, sought to immerse themselves in the stunning landscapes of paradise sands and lush rainforests.
They were spotted strolling amidst the trees and even took a ride in a golf buggy upon their arrival on December 14.
During their stay, Harry and Meghan indulged in relaxation at the scenic Playa Selo and the pristine beaches of Guanacaste Province.
These locations are renowned for their breathtaking sunsets and world-class resorts, making them the perfect choice for the royal couple's much-needed winter sun getaway.
As they explored the picturesque surroundings, Meghan was seen wearing a large straw hat, a black dress, and white trainers, while lovingly carrying their two-year-old daughter, Lilibet, through the forest.
In another snapshot, Harry and Meghan were captured seated in a green golf buggy, with Archie comfortably nestled in his father's lap, surrounded by rows of swaying palm trees.
Interestingly, Harry and Meghan's choice of destination follows in the footsteps of other notable figures, such as superstar Shakira, comedian Kevin Hart, and actress James Sear, who have also recently visited this enchanting country.
While enjoying their time in Costa Rica, the royal couple made the decision to skip the traditional royal Christmas festivities at Sandringham this year.
Instead, they opted to remain in the United States with their children.
However, according to some sources, the children did not accompany them on their Costa Rican getaway.
Witnesses at the airport, as reported by the TCO Times, Costa Rica's largest English-language newspaper, confirmed this information.
From December 14 to the 20th, Harry and Meghan explored the beautiful Playa Selo and the nearby Guanacaste Province.
Flight tracking data revealed that they utilized a private jet for their travel, with a brief layover at Guanacaste Airport before landing at Juan Santa Maria Airport.
Although the ownership of the plane remains unclear, it is worth noting that it was previously owned by an entity acquired by Harry earlier this year.
Airport staff, however, did not witness any children accompanying Harry and Meghan on their flight.
One witness stated that only Harry and Meghan were present, although they weren't seen holding hands.
Another witness mentioned seeing Meghan carrying a sizable tote bag but did not spot any children.
These observations have raised suspicions about the presence of children in the photos circulating from their trip, leading some to question if the children were borrowed for appearances.
Furthermore, Paula M., a friend of the director of tourism for Central America, shared some insights in a video regarding Meghan's trip.
She mentioned that Meghan had requested local newspapers to cover their visit and expressed frustration that their Sussex titles were not used in the report.
