She acknowledged that Meghan and Harry are fully aware of the attention they attract but expressed her hope that they would not overshadow the Queen.

However, she also admitted that she did not believe they would be deterred from seeking the limelight.

Despite their intentions, the Sussexes faced a significant snub during the Trooping the Colour ceremony.

They were not permitted to stand on the Buckingham Palace balcony and were seated separately from the Queen at Horse Guards.

Instead, they found themselves in the Major General's office alongside Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Zara Tindall, Mia Tindall, Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, and their children Prince Louis, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte.
