Doria and Thomas Shocking Decision at Last Minute Over Queen Jubilee Unmask Meg’s Most Terrible Secrets
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are set to arrive in the UK next week to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
However, there is speculation about whether Megan's mother, Doria Ragland, will be joining them on this trip.
Doria, who is a social worker based in California, is a loving grandmother to Harry and Megan's children, Archie, 3, and Lily, who will be turning 1 soon.
It wouldn't come as a complete surprise if Doria, 65, decides to accompany the family on their transatlantic journey to London.
After all, she stayed with Harry and Megan for the first few weeks in Windsor after Archie was born.
Doria has also been seen playing with the little one at the Sussexes' home in Montecito.
Given her close relationship with the family, it's likely that she has been invited to join them for the Jubilee celebrations.
In the past, Doria has attended official engagements alongside the royal family.
She notably supported her daughter at the launch of the Together cookbook at Kensington Palace in 2018.
Additionally, she was spotted at the closing ceremony of the Toronto Invictus Games when Megan and Harry were still dating.
While the specific Jubilee events the Sussexes will participate in remain unknown, it is highly probable that they will be present at the Queen's main birthday parade, Trooping the Colour, on June 2nd.
Although Archie and Lily might not ride in the carriages due to their young age, they could potentially watch their parents from the Buckingham Palace windows under Doria's watchful eye.
This has been a tradition among young royals in the past.
Another event where Doria might make an appearance during the Jubilee weekend is the Royal Pageant and Big Luncheon on June 5th, which is expected to be attended by various members of the royal family.
Despite living about an hour and a half away from the Sussexes in Los Angeles, Doria reportedly has her own guest house at their Montecito property.
With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, there is ample space for the devoted grandmother to rest after engaging in high-energy playtime with her grandkids.
Meanwhile, Meghan Markle has received a plea to visit her estranged father, Thomas Markle, who was recently hospitalized after a suspected major stroke.
Thomas is currently receiving treatment in a hospital in California.
Tom Bauer, a journalist working on a biography of the Duchess, suggests that Meghan, who claims to be compassionate, should make an effort to visit her father.
Bauer states that if compassion is truly important to Meghan, she should go to her father's bedside, which is only a two-and-a-half-hour drive from her home in Montecito, and provide him with comfort and reassurance.
However, it remains uncertain whether Meghan will indeed choose to visit her estranged father, given their strained relationship.
Thomas was initially admitted to a hospital in Tijuana, Mexico, before being transported by ambulance to the clinic in Chula Vista, California.
As the days unfold, we eagerly await to see what actions Meghan will take regarding her father's condition.
Will she put aside their differences and extend a compassionate hand?
Only time will tell.
