Megan Accused of Exploiting Funds and Gagging Staff at Public School

The Department of Education has exposed Megan, alleging that she exploited $2,000 from 409 poor students at a public school.

Additionally, aides of and have been accused of silencing teachers and students at a primary school featured in their Netflix series.

During their visit to Public School 123 in New York City in 2021, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex allegedly attempted to implement a clause preventing any negative comments about their visit.

This accusation comes as part of their 80 million pound Netflix docuseries.

Public School 123 is known for being one of the poorest schools in New York.

While Harry and Meghan donated two garden boxes filled with vegetables and herbs during their visit, some parents later claimed that the produce was mostly rotten and unusable.

Meghan's side attributed this to the shipping process and stated that the Duke cannot guarantee the condition of all charity items.

However, critics argue that fresh produce is readily available in the area, as herself moved close to the school.

During the event, Meghan, aged 42, read from her children's book, “The Bench,” which was published in June 2021.

However, school authorities were reportedly instructed not to share any negative comments about the visit on social media, both at the time and in the future.

Critics argue that Meghan's visit to the school, dressed in an expensive red outfit worth tens of thousands of dollars, was contradictory to the purpose of supporting underprivileged children.

They claim that Meghan should focus on helping the less fortunate and supporting schools, rather than using such visits for promotional purposes.

In addition, some parents expressed anger over allegations that Meghan asked the children for five dollars each as a small donation to a charity.

Natasha Jackson, a parent, labeled this act as exploitation.

The school had initially asked parents to donate five dollars without specifying the purpose, but later revealed that the donations were intended for the couple's charity foundation.

Archwell representatives, associated with Meghan and Harry, are now facing accusations of emailing the Department of Education with an appearance release that included the gagging clause.

They allegedly requested the department to consult their lawyers regarding the clause.

Furthermore, emails from New York City Schools' press secretary, Daniela Filson, reportedly indicated that a press release about the visit should not mention Meghan's book to avoid excessive promotion.

In separate documents, the couple's team also banned four British newspapers from attending an event at the World Trade Center.

These actions have raised concerns about the couple's control over the narrative surrounding their public appearances.

Emails related to the planning of the school trip reveal that Meghan wore a £5,000 suit and Cartier accessories six months prior to the visit.

These revelations add to the growing scrutiny surrounding the couple's actions and their impact on the institutions they engage with.
