Avid Verney Wins Arteis Awards, Meghan Markle’s Career Takes Another Hit

In a surprising turn of events, Avid Verney has emerged victorious at the Arteis Awards, leaving in the dust.

Just as the new year began, rumors started swirling about yet another career setback for the Duchess of Sussex.

It seems that her talent agency has decided to part ways with her, adding to the mounting challenges she has faced recently.

Many are speculating that this move was long overdue, as Meghan's constant quest for attention and portrayal of herself as a victim had become tiresome.

Raw commentator Angela Levin took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share that Meghan's name is conspicuously absent from the website of her new agent, William Morris.

Could it be that she has been quietly dropped?

Meghan's career in 2023 failed to gain any significant achievements, especially when it came to awards.

Most recently, she faced accusations of bribery involving a staggering sum of $250,000.

As a result, her agency was unable to secure a career achievement award for her.

Instead, the prestigious Lynn Stolmuster Award for Career Achievement will be bestowed upon Avid DuVernay at the Casting Society's annual Arteis Awards on March 7th.

The organization made the announcement on Thursday, praising DuVernay as a visionary storyteller and an advocate for casting professionals.

Destiny Lilly, the president of the Casting Society, expressed her admiration for DuVernay's commitment to inclusive and representative casting throughout her illustrious career.

She stated, “Her passion for inclusive and representative casting throughout her impactful career has made her a leader in the industry, and we're thrilled to honor her with the Lynn Stolmuster Award at this year's ceremony.”

DuVernay herself expressed gratitude for the recognition, highlighting the importance of casting in her creative process and the joy she finds in collaborating with talented actors.

Apart from her latest project, “Origin,” DuVernay's impressive filmography includes acclaimed works such as “Selma,” “13th,” “A Wrinkle in Time,” “When They See Us,” and “Queen Sugar.”

In addition to her filmmaking endeavors, DuVernay also champions the cause of amplifying films made by people of color and women through her non-profit organization, Collective Array, which received a Peabody Institutional Award.

President Destiny Lilly pointed out that while may have aspirations for this award, her career lacks any notable achievements thus far.

If she were to win, it could lead to a boycott of the organizers and create controversy.

It is clear that Meghan cannot simply buy her way into earning accolades.

Her desire to become a movie star princess, commanding others and having all her wishes fulfilled, clashed with the reality of a job that comes with rules, obligations, and privileges.

She chose to marry into a certain lifestyle but failed to fully embrace the necessary adjustments and adaptations.

From the beginning, she resisted conforming to expectations, determined to have her way or bring everyone down with her, alongside her partner in crime, Big Baby Harry.

In conclusion, Avid Verney's triumph at the Arteis Awards has dealt another blow to Meghan Markle's already struggling career.
