King Charles III Won’t Strip Prince Harry of His Duke of Sussex Title, Says Ex-Royal Butler

There has been much speculation surrounding the tension between King Charles III and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

While Harry attended his father's coronation, his wife and children remained in lay, leading many to believe that Charles would strip Harry of his Duke of Sussex title.

However, Grant Harold, an ex-royal butler, suggests that the new king will not take such action for sentimental reasons.

According to Harold, stripping Harry of his royal titles would go against the gifts and wishes of the late Queen Elizabeth II.

Since the title was a gift from Harry's grandmother, Charles would not consider taking it away from him.

Harold points out that historically, kings and queens would only strip royal titles for treason to the crown, which is not the case here.

He believes that Charles is in a difficult position when it comes to Harry and that it is best to let sleeping dogs lie.

“While there may not be a real justified reason for him to strip Harry's Duke of Sussex title at the moment, there is one thing Charles could do,” says Harold.

He suggests that Charles could easily strip Harry of his His Royal Highness title, which was originally given to the children and grandchildren of the monarch.

Although it would be unusual since Harry is still the son of the king, it is a possibility.

Interestingly, Harry was not included in King Charles's recent royal portrait, along with Prince Andrew, who has also faced speculation about having his Duke of York title taken away due to alleged crimes.

As Harold emphasizes, “It would be quite unusual because he's still the son of the king, but it is possible.”
