Prince Harry Affirms Commitment to Royal Titles and Denies Plans to Return as Working Royal

Prince Harry, the younger son of King Charles III, has made it clear that he and his wife, the Duchess of Sussex, have no intentions of renouncing their royal titles.

In an interview promoting his memoir, Spare, Harry responded to questions about why he and Meghan have not relinquished their titles.

Anderson Cooper, the interviewer, asked why they didn't renounce their titles as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, to which Harry replied dismissively, “And what difference would that make?”

During his appearance on 60 Minutes, Harry was also questioned about allegations that he and Meghan were profiting from their titles while publicly criticizing the royal family.

The Duke evaded the accusations, seemingly ignoring polls that indicate a majority of the UK public supports the removal of their titles.

In a separate interview on Good Morning America, Harry admitted that he does not believe he will ever return to the UK and resume his role as a working royal.

He expressed doubt that it would be possible, even with an agreement or arrangement between him and his family, citing external forces that would make it “unsurvivable.”

Although he did not explicitly mention the UK press, it appeared that he was referring to their influence.

When asked why he doesn't simply leave to avoid hypocrisy, Harry stated that he is aware of his position and grateful for the life he has had.

However, he claimed there is no version of him being able to escape his circumstances.

Despite his various interviews, including a Netflix docuseries and a personal memoir, Harry maintained that he has never been the source of leaks about his family.
