Prince Harry Faces Housing Dilemma as He Attends King Charles’ Coronation without Meghan Markle
Prince Harry, 38, will be attending the coronation of King Charles without his wife Meghan Markle.
Following their eviction from Frogmore Cottage, Prince Harry now needs to find accommodation for his solo journey.
Fortunately, Home Exchange, a leading home swapping platform, has come forward to offer two beautiful cottages in Windsor for the Prince's stay during his visit to the UK.
Both cottages are conveniently located near Windsor Castle and provide easy access to Westminster Abbey, where the coronation will take place.
Additionally, they are situated close to the heart of London, ensuring that Prince Harry can easily explore the city during his time in the UK.
According to Home Exchange, the cottages offer a similar charm to Frogmore Cottage, making it feel like a home away from home for the Prince.
One of the cottages, Thatched Cottage in Windsor, boasts stunning gardens with two summer houses.
Its unique layout features hidden walkways and a variety of flowers and shrubs, creating an outdoor sanctuary away from prying eyes.
This picturesque setting has been regularly featured in Open Gardens Day, further highlighting its appeal.
Another option for Prince Harry is the Cotswolds Farmhouse.
Before their wedding, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle leased this Grade II listed farmhouse for two years.
The property, located on the Great Tew Estate, spans four acres of private land.
Notably, the estate is also home to the Beckham's Country House and Meghan's favorite Oxfordshire retreat, Soho Farmhouse.
However, whether Prince Harry will be able to stay at the Cotswolds Farmhouse during his visit remains uncertain.
The decision ultimately lies with the Duke of Kent, who holds the right to govern the Cotswolds estate, bestowed upon him by the late Queen.
Unfortunately, there is known tension between Prince Harry and the Duke of Kent, as expressed in Harry's book last year.
This makes it unlikely that the Duke will grant him permission to stay at the Cotswolds Farmhouse.
The Duke of Kent, considered the closest person to the late Queen, has been by her side for many state events since the Duke of Edinburgh's retirement in 2017.
He even accompanied her to scaled-down birthday celebrations during the pandemic.
Known for his tireless stoicism and dedication to the royal family, the Duke of Kent has quietly carried out his duties with absolute contentment.
While younger royals like Prince William, Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle, and Prince Harry often dominate headlines, the Duke of Kent continues to fulfill his responsibilities with grace and dignity.
At 87 years old, he remains committed to his role within the firm.
As Prince Harry prepares for King Charles' coronation, he must now decide where to stay during this significant event.
Whether he chooses one of Home Exchange's cottages in Windsor or seeks approval from the Duke of Kent for the Cotswolds Farmhouse, his accommodation will undoubtedly be a topic of interest as the coronation approaches.
