Harry and Meghan Markle Snubbed at 2023 Ripple of Hope Awards

Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights recently announced the recipients of its prestigious 2023 Ripple of Hope Awards.

This year's honorees include Jeff Arnold, founder, chairman, and CEO of Sharecare; Greg Barone, founder and CEO of Attain Enterprises; and Gail K. Bordeaux, president and CEO of Elephants Health.

The laureates will be celebrated at a gala event on December 6th in New York.

However, what caught everyone's attention was a notable absence.

The official website failed to mention and , who were honored with the same award last year for their efforts in combating racism, particularly within the royal family.

It remains unclear whether the couple voluntarily declined the award or if it was retracted by Kerry Kennedy, who presented it to them.

The Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights organization has seemingly erased any trace of the Sussexes from its social media accounts.

Previously, there were at least two posts featuring Meghan and Harry on the RFK Human Rights Twitter account, but now they have been removed.

Similarly, a search for their names on the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Instagram account yields no results, except for a single post from last year's awards ceremony that includes a picture of the couple without any mention of their names.

Speculation suggests that Kerry Kennedy may have revoked Harry and Meghan's Ripple of Hope Award following Harry's recent admission to Tom Bradby that the royal family is not racist.

Harry faced backlash for contradicting his earlier claims made during his explosive interview with in 2021.

During an interview with ITV's Tom Bradby, Harry denied accusations that he accused members of his own family of racism, stating that it was actually the British press who made those claims.

He did acknowledge, however, that there were concerns about 's skin color.

Kerry Kennedy now faces criticism for honoring the couple, especially after Harry's contradictory statements.

The absence of any mention of Harry and Meghan on Kennedy's Twitter account since December 22nd, apart from a photo that received negative comments, further adds to the notion that they have fallen out of favor with the organization.

According to a report by The Times, it appears that Buckingham Palace has closed its doors on the Sussexes.

The King, Harry's father, will reportedly miss his son's birthday party, indicating the strained relationship within the family.

Even a source who recently spent time with the royal family in Scotland expressed hope for reconciliation before the couple's money-making ventures became public.

However, with the release of their documentary and book projects, the family seems to have firmly shut the door on Harry and Meghan, at least for the time being.

While the King may be more inclined to forgive his son, the rest of the family remains hesitant to mend the rift.

The current situation suggests that the couple's relationship with the royal family is currently more closed off than open, leaving their future interactions uncertain.
