Princess Eugene and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, have made an unexpected move by taking up residence in Frogmore Cottage.

This development comes as a new twist to the ongoing and Meghan eviction saga.

Initially, it was suggested that would be given the house, but according to a source, the princess and her husband moved into the Windsor property two weeks ago.

A source close to the situation revealed to OK Magazine that Harry is thrilled for his cousin, as they share a close bond.

The move coincides with Mr. Brooksbank being offered a promotion at the US-based firm Discovery Land Company, which will require him to spend more time in the United States.

However, the insider shared that Princess Eugene, who is currently expecting their second child and is already a mother to two-year-old August, is determined to give birth in the UK and raise their children in England.

Whenever the couple finds themselves in the US, it is believed that they will stay with Harry and Meghan at their home in Montecito, California.

The source also mentioned that while the Sussexes are disappointed about the move, they are genuinely happy for Princess Eugene and Jack to take over Frogmore Cottage.

In fact, they have been staying there intermittently over the past few years and even visited Harry and Meghan in California last month.

During their visit, they took care of some personal belongings left behind and assisted in packing items to be shipped to California.

, Princess Eugene's father, is delighted that his daughter and son-in-law will temporarily reside at Frogmore.

However, Buckingham Palace has clarified that there are no long-term plans for them to stay there.

Journalist and biographer Omid Scobie shared that the Sussexes were taken aback by the news but have accepted the decision.

While it remains uncertain whether Harry and Meghan will return to the UK for the King's coronation in May, they have confirmed receiving an official invitation.
