Prince Harry’s Attendance at Coronation in Question, Cousins to Provide Support
The Duke of Sussex is turning to his cousins, Eugene and Sarah Tyndall, for support at the upcoming coronation, according to a Royal Commentator.
Kinsey Schofield revealed that due to Prince Harry's strained relationship with several senior royals, it is the more junior members of the royal family who will engage with him during this significant event.
Despite the frosty dynamics, the King wishes for his youngest son to be present, and Charles specifically requested Prince Harry's attendance.
Schofield stated, “Duty is still a priority to Harry, and it feels like his responsibility to attend.”
As a result, we can expect familiar faces like Sarah Tyndall and Princess Eugene to engage in small talk with the exiled prince.
However, tensions may arise between King Charles' wife, Camilla, and Prince Harry during the ceremony.
Earlier this year, Prince Harry launched scathing attacks on Camilla in his autobiography, “Spare.”
Jenny Bond, speaking to GB News, expressed her thoughts on the matter, saying, “Harry is going to make a fleeting visit for the coronation.
It's not beyond the bounds of possibility that he will fly straight out after the ceremony and get back to California just about in time to celebrate late in the day with his little son Archie, whose fourth birthday it is.
It's certainly going to be a quick visit and an awkward one.
I mean, who wouldn't be hurt by being called a villain, by being accused, as Camilla was, of leaking stories to the press which she didn't leak.”
Bond continued, acknowledging that Camilla will maintain politeness and courtesy towards Prince Harry, assuming he reciprocates.
However, it is clear that the weekend will not be an easy one for either party involved.
Additionally, the royal commentator speculated that Prince Harry will likely skip the lunch following the ceremony, opting to return to the US to be with his son Archie on his fourth birthday.
Bond stated, “He is not going to attend the lunch afterwards as far as we know, and we're told that maybe a place will be set in case he changes his mind.
I don't think he'll change his mind, I actually think he will head straight back to California, probably within a couple of hours of ripping off his suit or whatever he's wearing and getting into his jeans and off he goes back to California.”
As we await the coronation, it is evident that Prince Harry's attendance remains uncertain, with potential conflicts and emotional strains looming over the event.
The question of whether he will stay for the post-ceremony lunch or rush back to California to celebrate his son's birthday adds further intrigue to the situation.
