Meghan Markle Bans Prince Harry from Interviews, Focusing on Her Own Image
Meghan Markle has reportedly made the decision to exclude her husband, Prince Harry, from appearing in her interviews.
The move is aimed at shifting the focus onto herself and the work she is involved in, as well as distancing herself from controversies.
Royal expert Neil Sean revealed this claim while discussing Markle's recent tell-all interview with Variety magazine.
According to a reliable source, there was one person who couldn't be featured in the interview – the former royal known as the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry.
This decision was apparently made to realign Markle's public relations and how she is perceived by the public.
The reason behind Harry's alleged ban is that the new PR team believes he could be too distracting, according to the same source.
Shedding more light on this development, Sean shared, “At the end of the year, we will see if Meghan succeeds in selling her new remixed, revitalized, rejuvenated public image, especially to people back in Britain.
She wants to reaffirm herself as a fun, giggly, friendly, and down-to-earth person.”
Markle's interview with Variety raised eyebrows, particularly for the way she referred to Harry.
Royal expert Daniela Elsa appeared to mock Markle for not using his name and instead referring to him as “the fifth in line to the throne, son of King Charles, and a man whose birth was celebrated with a 41-gun salute, aka Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex.”
Elsa highlighted that in the past two months, Markle has had two major interviews, complete with glamorous photo shoots, where she takes center stage while Harry plays a minor role.
Elsa questioned the whereabouts of Prince Harry, stating, “While they both secured lucrative deals with Netflix and Spotify, it is Meghan who has taken the lead.
She has started her own Spotify series called ‘Archetypes,' which, despite its self-involved nature, is struggling to gain popularity.
Only two out of six episodes are currently in the top 100 rankings in the US.”
Elsa also noted that even when the couple poses together, it is Meghan who attracts media attention.
In early October, official images from the One Young World Summit were released, featuring Harry unintentionally recreating their photoshopped Time magazine cover by peering over his wife's shoulder.
Elsa concluded, “The stories from Variety and The Cut prove that while the Duchess of Sussex may be one of the most famous women in the world, she is also quite boring.
