Nightmare for Prince William and Kate as Sussexes’ Presence Threatens Earthshot Prize Awards

Prince William and Kate Middleton are set to face a potential nightmare when they travel to the US for the Earthshot Prize Awards ceremony next year.

According to royal expert Phil Dampier, it is unlikely that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will meet with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who now reside in California after stepping down from their royal duties.

Dampier believes that William and Kate would not want to risk having their thunder stolen by Harry and Meghan, especially considering the rivalry that has developed between the two couples.

He stated, “They are very much rivals now, not brothers in arms, and I'm afraid I can't see a reconciliation soon.”

Dampier also suggested that if Harry were to drop his book project and acknowledge that some of his and Meghan's comments were excessive, there might be a chance for progress.

However, he doesn't foresee this happening.

The US visit presents an opportunity for William and Kate to boost their profile, particularly during the Queen's Platinum Jubilee year.

While they have always been popular in America, they have not visited in some time.

Dampier believes that staying at Harry and Meghan's Montecito mansion would be a circus and a security nightmare, diverting attention from their environmental cause.

Therefore, he expects the couple to focus on their efforts and avoid meeting up with the Sussexes.

In addition to the tensions between the two royal couples, Prince Harry is facing increasing pressure to speak out against Netflix's portrayal of his family in their shows.

Despite publicly criticizing the media's invasion of his privacy and the toxicity directed towards Meghan, Harry has remained silent about the unflattering depictions of other members of the royal family, including his mother, Princess Diana.

Critics suggest that Harry's silence may be due to the fact that he and Meghan signed a $100 million production deal with Netflix.

The upcoming fifth season of “The Crown” will reportedly feature an entire episode dedicated to Princess Diana's controversial 1995 BBC interview with Martin Bashir.

This interview, which revealed her struggles within her marriage to Prince Charles, became the subject of a damning inquiry that found BBC and Bashir guilty of deceit.
