Young Royals Pay Tribute to Beloved Gangan at State Funeral

The young Royals, Prince George and , displayed immense bravery and devotion as they bid farewell to their beloved great-grandmother, Gangan, at her state funeral on Monday.

This poignant event also revealed the new surname adopted by the royal siblings for the first time.

Previously known as Prince George of Cambridge and of Cambridge, their new surname is now Wales.

This change comes after their parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales, were bestowed with this new title.

The public caught a glimpse of their new surname on the order of service for the Queen's funeral.

Royal expert Angela Muller expressed that this must have been a significant adjustment for Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge.

Not only has she taken on a new role herself, but she also had to explain to her young children, aged nine, seven, and four, that their surnames have changed.

They are now known as George, Charlotte, and Louise Wales.

As any parent knows, once a child learns how to spell their name, it becomes their identity among their peers.

This change in surname occurred after appointed Kate and William as the Prince and Princess of Wales.

During his address to the nation as the monarch, Charles announced that Kate would be the first royal to bear the title of Princess of Wales since .

He also mentioned that William would assume the Scottish titles and become the Duke of Cornwall, taking on the responsibility for the country of Cornwall, which Charles had held for more than five decades.

Charles proudly declared William as the Prince of Wales, emphasizing the significance of this title in his own life and duty to the country.

With Catherine by his side, the new Prince and Princess of Wales are expected to continue inspiring and leading the nation's conversations, bringing important issues to the forefront and providing assistance where it is needed most.

During the state funeral, Prince George and Princess Charlotte captivated the nation with their presence.

As great-grandchildren of the Queen, they were among the 2,000 guests in attendance.

The young royals played a significant role in the solemn procession, walking behind their great-grandmother's coffin through Westminster Abbey.

They also participated in the committal service at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle later in the day.

In Westminster Abbey, George, aged nine, and Charlotte, aged seven, walked with dignity as they followed the Queen's coffin.

Their actions were witnessed by hundreds of guests within the Gothic Church and watched by a global audience through international television coverage.

Charlotte had her hands clasped in front of her, while George kept his arms by his side.

They walked slightly behind and , the Queen consort, and ahead of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
