Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Set to Move to Windsor, According to Royal Expert

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, are expected to announce their move to Windsor in the coming weeks, possibly around Christmas.

Renowned royal expert Angela Levin has revealed that the couple has been actively planning this relocation, aiming to provide support to the Queen and to be closer to Kate's family.

While the move may have already been finalized, it is speculated that the announcement might be postponed until December.

Discussing the matter on GB News, Ms. Levin stated, “I think they have either sorted it so they can announce it next week.

Or they might leave it until the Christmas holiday, which is not ideal but then so much has happened with the Royal Family, you can't do everything at once.”

The decision to move to Windsor is driven by William and Kate's deep care for their family.

Ms. Levin, who is a royal biographer, emphasized this point during her interview on GB News.

She also highlighted that despite the Queen's public stoicism, having her grandchildren and great-grandchildren around her will likely bring her solace in private.

“I am quite sure that underlying it all is the fact that they care very much about their family,” Ms. Levin told GB News.

“And even though the Queen looks absolutely stoic and heroic when we see her out and about in bright colors, seeming very positive.

There must be very deep and dark patches when she is alone without her late husband.

After 70 years together, it must be extraordinarily difficult.”

Ms. Levin further explained that the couple's decision to move closer to the Queen is not only driven by emotional reasons but also practical ones.

She stated, “They are happy to move near her.

I mean children are wonderful.

Small children are wonderful to take people's mind off dark things.

And I think it would be, it is a very, very positive move.
