Earl Spencer Pays Tribute to Queen After Her Passing

's brother, Charles Spencer, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to Her Majesty the Queen following her passing at the age of 96 on September 8th.

In a touching tribute posted on his Instagram, the 58-year-old shared a photo of the monarch in her coronation gown, without adding a caption.

The official announcement regarding the Queen's passing stated that she died peacefully at Balmoral.

Both the King and the Queen consort will remain at Balmoral for the evening and return to London tomorrow.

Numerous tributes poured in, including one from III, who wrote, “The death of my beloved mother, Her Majesty the Queen, is a moment of the greatest sadness for me and all members of my family.

We mourn profoundly the passing of a cherished sovereign and a much-loved mother.

I know her loss will be deeply felt throughout the country, the realms, and the Commonwealth, and by countless people around the world.

During this period of mourning and change, my family and I will be comforted and sustained by our knowledge of the respect and deep affection in which the Queen was so widely held.”

On September 8th, Buckingham Palace released an official statement expressing concern for the Queen's health and recommending that she remain under medical supervision.

The Queen is currently comfortable and staying at Balmoral.

Upon hearing the news, members of the Royal Family, such as Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall, and the Duke of Cambridge, swiftly traveled to Balmoral Castle to be by Her Majesty's side.

and were already in the UK when the news broke publicly about the Queen's health.

In August, Charles marked the 25th anniversary of 's tragic death in Paris.

He posted a somber photo of a Union Jack flying at half-mast atop Princess Diana's childhood home, Althorp House.

Lowering the flag to half-mast is a symbol of respect when someone passes away.

At the time, Buckingham Palace faced significant backlash for not lowering the flag following the tragic news.

However, the flag was subsequently flown at half-mast for Diana's funeral and on the anniversary of her death.

In other news, there is growing interest in and 's royal future.

According to the Evening Standard, there are no major changes expected in the titles of the Sussexes, even with Prince Charles as the new monarch, referred to as III.

As Prince Harry's son, his titles remain unchanged, while his brother, Prince William, now holds the additional title of Duke of Cornwall, alongside his previous title of Duke of Cambridge.

Prince Harry has moved up the line of succession and now holds the fifth position in line to the throne.

Significant changes are anticipated for Prince Harry's children, as they are now the grandchildren of the reigning monarch.

Although Harrison and Diana were not born with the titles of prince and princess, they are now entitled to these titles since their grandfather, Charles, has become king.

It is currently unclear whether Prince Harry and Meghan's children will choose to use their official prince and princess titles or opt out.

Regarding Prince Harry and Meghan's recent interactions with the Queen, their last known meeting took place in June when they visited the UK to celebrate her Platinum Jubilee.
