Title: Prince Louie Steals the Show at Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Parade
In a surprising turn of events, Prince Louie, the four-year-old son of Prince William and Kate Middleton, captivated the crowd's attention during Queen Elizabeth II's platinum jubilee celebration.
The young prince, dressed in his father's hand-me-down sailor outfit from 1985, made a delightful appearance at Thursday's Trooping the Colour parade.
While the Queen was expected to be the star of the event, all eyes were on her great-grandson.
Accompanied by his older brother Prince George, eight, and sister Princess Charlotte, seven, as well as his mother Middleton, 40, and step-grandmother Camilla Parker Bowles, Prince Louie greeted the enthusiastic onlookers from a carriage.
The mini-royals waved joyfully, joining the crowd in celebrating the Queen's remarkable 70 years of service.
During a heartwarming moment, Princess Charlotte took a break from greeting the crowd and lovingly placed Prince Louie's hand down.
The youngest member of the family then stood proudly beside the 96-year-old Queen during the royal family's balcony appearance.
Following this, the siblings reunited with their parents at Buckingham Palace.
Before their official balcony appearance, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louie eagerly observed the procession through the palace windows.
It was during this time that Prince Louie stole the show with an adorable salute.
Hilariously captured in photographs, he reacted to the loud airplanes flying overhead by opening his mouth wide and squeezing his eyes shut, seemingly screaming with his hands covering his ears.
Prince Louie, born in April 2018, has been making headlines with his endearing antics since his birth.
At the 2019 Trooping the Colour event, when he was just one year old, he waved at the crowds from the window and from his mother's arms.
On that occasion, he wore an outfit similar to the one his uncle Prince Harry had worn in 1986.
Prince Harry, now 37, attended Thursday's celebration, representing the royal family.
However, he and his wife Meghan Markle did not join their family members on the balcony, as they are no longer working royals.
Instead, they watched the event from the major general's office in Buckingham Palace.
The couple, who currently reside in California, arrived in England on Wednesday with their two children, three-year-old Archie and 11-month-old Lilibet.
This marks Lilibet's first visit to Harry's native country since her arrival in June 2021, as her parents stepped away from their royal duties last year.
In other news, Prince William and Kate Middleton seemingly displayed a cold shoulder towards Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during Friday's Thanksgiving service for the Queen's Jubilee at St. Paul's Cathedral, according to People magazine.
The special service, intended as a tribute to Queen Elizabeth's 70 years as monarch, marked the first time the Cambridges and Sussexes were seen together at the same event since the Commonwealth Day service in 2020, just before Harry and Meghan's departure from royal life.
As Prince William and Kate made their way to their seats at St. Paul's Cathedral, they passed Prince Harry and Meghan's pew without making direct eye contact.
Similarly, Prince Harry avoided looking directly at his brother, keeping his gaze forward.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived in the UK on Wednesday for the Queen's Jubilee, marking their first return as a family since “Megxit.”
Although reports suggest that the Queen has already met them and their daughter Lilibet, there have been no public appearances of the monarch with the Sussexes.
The Queen withdrew from Friday's service due to discomfort she experienced the day before.
