Princess Kate’s Shoe Shopping Mishap with George and Charlotte

Princess Kate found herself in a rather amusing situation recently when she went shoe shopping with her children, Prince George and .

Despite their royal status, the young princes and princess attend Lambrook School, where their parents want them to have a typical school experience.

And what could be more typical than shopping for school uniforms?

In 2018, Kate made a silly but understandable mistake during a shoe shopping trip with George and Charlotte.

They were spotted at the London department store, Peter Jones, while her two eldest children were still enrolled at Thomas's School in Battersea.

However, when the family relocated from London to Windsor, the kids eventually transferred to Lambrook.

According to a source who spoke with Hello Magazine, Kate forgot to bring socks for the kids to try on their new school shoes because they were still wearing their summer sandals.

As a result, Kate had to borrow socks from the store, a simple error that any busy mother could make.

Despite this minor mishap, the children have settled in well at Lambrook School, which boasts an impressive array of facilities.

From a nine-hole golf course to a 25-meter swimming pool, a cricket field, an orchard, and woodland, Lambrook offers its students a wide range of opportunities.

One noteworthy activity is polo, a sport that Kate, who has always enjoyed sports and outdoor activities, would surely appreciate.

During her time at Marlborough College, Kate played hockey for her school, showcasing her passion for sports.

Speaking of Marlborough College, it is worth mentioning that there have been rumors suggesting that George, Charlotte, and their younger brother, , may attend the prestigious school when they are older.

Marlborough College, like Lambrook, is a co-educational day and boarding school.

However, it caters to students aged 13 to 18, making it a bit older than Lambrook, which accommodates students from grades 3 through 13.

Despite being located in Wiltshire, Marlborough College is a distance away from the family's home in Windsor.

Alternatively, George and Louis might choose to follow in the footsteps of their father and uncle, , by attending Eton College.

This would be a departure from royal tradition, as in the past, royal children had always attended Gordonstoun in Scotland.

Notable alumni from Gordonstoun include and William and Harry's cousins, Peter Phillips and Zara Tindall.

In conclusion, despite Princess Kate's minor shoe shopping mishap, her children seem to have adjusted well to their new school environment at Lambrook.
