King Charles Slams Prince Harry as “That Fool” in New Book
In a shocking revelation, King Charles III has reportedly referred to his own son, Prince Harry, as “that fool” following a series of vicious attacks against the royal family.
Since their departure from the royal fold in 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have launched a barrage of accusations, claiming racism within the family and lack of support during Meghan's struggles with mental health.
Furthermore, Harry alleged that his stepmother, Camilla Parker Bowles, sacrificed him for her own public relations agenda, and even accused his older brother, Prince William, of physical assault.
Throughout it all, the royal family has maintained a dignified silence, refusing to engage in a public war of words.
However, according to Omid Scobie's new book, “Endgame,” the king and the rest of the family were not as composed behind closed doors.
As reported by the New York Post, King Charles III expressed his frustration and disappointment with Prince Harry after the release of his scathing 2022 Netflix tell-all docuseries, “Harry and Meghan.”
The book claims that the king openly mocked his estranged son, labeling him as “that fool.”
While some may question the validity of these claims, it is not difficult to understand why King Charles would be driven to such an extreme.
After all, even a king can only endure so much disrespect from his own flesh and blood.
According to Scobie's book, Charles initially wanted to avoid any discussion about his estranged son.
However, the release of the docuseries changed everything.
It took a toll on the entire family, leaving them feeling disheartened and defeated.
Charles went from maintaining a dignified silence to openly criticizing Prince Harry.
The New York Post suggests that the most offensive aspect of the series for Charles might have been Meghan's mocking curtsy, which was seen as a disrespectful gesture towards his late mother, Princess Diana.
Additionally, Harry and Meghan portrayed themselves as victims of the British press, further tarnishing the royal family's image.
Another revelation from the docuseries, as reported by the New York Post, is that Charles's office allegedly leaked Harry and Meghan's plan to move to Canada, which was later abandoned.
This revelation caused significant distress within the palace walls.
However, it is important to note that the issue was not Charles leaking the plans but rather the Canadian public's strong opposition to the idea.
An editorial published in the Globe and Mail argued that Meghan and Harry's proposed move to Canada would have violated the country's constitutional relationship with the monarchy.
The editorial emphasized that while ordinary private citizens would be welcomed, a royal resident, especially one in line for the throne, would break an unspoken constitutional taboo.
It is understandable why Charles would feel offended by Harry and Meghan's accusations regarding his involvement in their failed Canadian relocation plans.
The truth is that their ill-conceived plan was destined for failure from the start.
Blaming the royal family for their own missteps only further highlights their inability to take responsibility for their actions.
This pattern of behavior is not new for the couple, as they have previously shown a lack of humor and an inability to handle criticism.
In fact, when South Park released an episode featuring a fictionalized version of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess were deeply offended.
This reaction is consistent with their inability to take a joke and their tendency to lash out when faced with satire or mockery.
However, it is crucial to remember that public figures have long been targets of comedy, and most individuals in the public eye understand the need to have a sense of humor about themselves.
Meghan and Harry's hypersensitivity to criticism and their refusal to acknowledge their own shortcomings contribute to their declining popularity.
If they wish to change the public's perception of them, they must be willing to reflect on their behavior and learn to laugh at themselves.
Otherwise, they may continue to find themselves the subject of ridicule and satire in the future.
