Meg’s Pap Walk with Korean Woman at Ramen Restaurant Competes for Attention of The King and Blackpink

The adorable moments captured between and the popular K-pop band Blackpink at Buckingham Palace have taken social media by storm.

However, amidst the royal family hosting the Korean president at the palace, found herself resorting to questionable tactics.

In an attempt to gain attention, she orchestrated a photo opportunity with an Asian customer at a Canadian restaurant.

Shortly after the royal family made a new announcement, Markle's PR team released the photo.

It is important to note that sources reported awarded Blackpink with honorary MBEs of the Order of the British Empire during the Korean state visit to the United Kingdom.

The members of Blackpink – Roseanne Park, Rose, Jennie Kim, Jisoo Kim, and Lalisa Manoban – were recognized for their role as COP26 advocates for the COP26 summit in Glasgow 2021.

Each member expressed gratitude to the King for the MBE and showed their appreciation through a short curtsy, except for Thailisa, who performed a traditional Thai bow.

The band also holds the position of UN Special Advocates for the Sustainable Development Goals, a title they received alongside Queen Matilda of Belgium in 2021.

President Yoon Suk-yool and First Lady Kim Kyung-hee of Korea witnessed the award ceremony in the 1844 room and joined in the celebratory photographs afterward.

Coincidentally, right after King Charles presented Blackpink with honorary MBEs, made an appearance with her own “We Love Asians” photo.

Predictably, she and posed for a picture with an Asian woman and her son at a ramen restaurant in Vancouver during their visit to the western Canadian city.

The couple seemed delighted as they interacted with the duo, who unexpectedly encountered them during lunch.

In the photo, taken just yesterday, Meghan can be seen crouching down, eagerly huddling with the smiling mother and her young son.

, hands in pockets, leans casually into the frame, sporting a relaxed smile.

However, it is worth noting that the little boy appears to be shouting, his arms wide open, seemingly unenthusiastic about taking a selfie with the couple.

Meghan's body language, on the other hand, appears far from relaxed, with noticeable tension in her knees and a tight grip on the table.

It is an odd sight indeed, with Harry appearing somewhat aloof.

A source close to an insider revealed that while the mother and son were enjoying their meal, Meghan noticed their Asian heritage and approached them.

She requested a photo together, but it seemed they were unaware of Meghan and Harry's identities.

Meghan then introduced herself as the Duchess of Sussex, the daughter-in-law of King Charles.

It appears the couple simply seized the opportunity to have their photo taken with the first Asians they encountered.

In all fairness, Vancouver boasts a significant Asian community, making it a suitable location for the couple's visit.

However, the timing of their appearance undoubtedly aimed to capitalize on the South Korean state visit.

It seems the “harkles” are attempting to imitate the grandeur of King Charles' interactions with the famous K-pop group by posing with a random Korean woman and her child, hoping to garner press attention.
