Meghan Markle Excluded from Vogue’s 2023 Forces for Change Party by Edward Enninful
British Vogue's highly anticipated 2023 Forces for Change party took place at the prestigious Mayfair venue on Thursday night, attracting a star-studded guest list of famous celebrities.
The event was hosted by Edward Enninful and Vanessa King-Gorey, who honored influential individuals such as activist Munro Bergdorf, actor Gemma Chan, musician Little Sims, and England footballer Mary Earps as some of the most essential change makers in culture.
Forces for Change was initially launched in the September 2019 issue of British Vogue, which was guest edited by Meghan Markle.
The campaign aimed to highlight individuals from various fields, including fashion, politics, activism, and sustainability, who are driving positive change.
Additionally, it provided an opportunity for attendees to showcase their stylish ensembles and enjoy the company of industry peers while sipping on exquisite beverages like Johnny Walker Blue Label, Laurent Perrier, and 71 Gin.
As the evening unfolded, notable personalities such as Chioma Nardi, Alexa Chung, Jordan Dunne, and Leomi Anderson graced the blooming housecrafted red carpet, accompanied by the soothing sounds of four strings, all adorned in vintage eBay finds.
Other guests on the exclusive list included Leela Moss, Maya Jama, Sarah Burton, Baz Luhrmann, Sheila Atim, Rita Ora, and Romali Ali.
Forces for Change has evolved into a powerful movement that recognizes and celebrates individuals who are actively fighting for positive transformations in the realms of fashion, culture, politics, and beyond.
Meghan Markle played a pivotal role in spearheading the original campaign when she guest edited the British Vogue issue in September 2019.
However, this year, Meghan found herself excluded from the guest list of the 2023 Forces for Change party by Edward Enninful.
Despite their previous friendship, it appears that Edward Enninful has severed ties with Meghan.
Previously, Meghan had a working relationship with Enninful during her time in the British royal family.
However, their interactions have ceased as Enninful strengthens his connections with the royal family, leaving Meghan seemingly without her former royal status.
Interestingly, the guest list did include Leah Williamson, who is known to be critical of Meghan.
Leah made a stunning appearance at the Vogue party, donning a ruched tall mini dress that showcased her well-toned figure.
Her blonde locks were styled in a bouncy, blown-out fashion, and she accentuated her features with a radiant makeup look.
Leah's outfit drew attention to her long, muscular legs, which she elegantly paired with pointed flats.
To add a touch of glamour to her ensemble, she adorned herself with large studded diamond earrings, a matching bracelet, and rings.
Leah Williamson has previously expressed her support for the British royal family and indirectly criticized Meghan Markle and Prince Harry when they released a Netflix movie that seemed to insult the monarchy.
Last month, Leah was honored with the Order of the British Empire (OBE) by Prince William at Windsor Castle following England's Euro 2022 final victory.
Alongside her teammates Lucy Bronze, Beth Mead, and Ellen White, Williamson was recognized in the King's New Year's Honours list at the end of 2022.
While Lucy Bronze, Beth Mead, and Ellen White received MBEs, Leah finally received her OBE on October 4th from Prince William himself.
She acknowledges that the wait has made her appreciate the significance of the award.
