Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Close Friend Joins Them for a Canucks Game
Meghan Markle, accompanied by her long-time friend and confidant Marcus Anderson, enjoyed a night of hockey as they cheered on the Vancouver Canucks from a VIP box at the Rogers Arena on Monday.
Known as Mr Soho House, Marcus has played a significant role in Meghan's life and was instrumental in bringing her and Harry together.
Opting for a more casual look, Marcus donned a green woolen jacket and jeans as he sat beside Meghan to watch the game.
The royal couple traveled to Canada to promote the upcoming Invictus Games, scheduled to take place in Vancouver and Whistler in February 2025.
It seems fitting that Marcus joined them, as he was by Meghan's side during her first public appearance with Harry at the Invictus Games in Toronto back in 2017.
However, Prince Harry appeared displeased with Marcus' presence at the event.
Throughout the Canucks game, he seemed to continuously ignore Meghan.
In particular, Harry became visibly angry when Marcus accidentally brought up the story of Meghan being linked to several hockey players in the past.
The coincidence of watching a hockey match seemed to have struck a nerve with Harry.
Meghan's previous relationship with Canadian ice hockey star Michael Del Zotto resulted in her separation from her first husband, Trevor.
Meghan shared pictures of herself with Del Zotto after attending his games in April 2013, ultimately leading to her divorce later that year.
Despite their brief encounters, Del Zotto, who was ten years younger than Meghan, did not pursue a romantic relationship with her.
Del Zotto was not the only hockey player who fell under Meghan's charm.
Peter Holland, another Canadian professional ice hockey player, also found himself ensnared by Meghan's allure.
Meghan employed a damsel-in-distress narrative to captivate unsuspecting men, even while she was still married to Trevor.
Holland once tweeted at Meghan, expressing his disappointment upon discovering her marital status.
During the Canucks game in Vancouver, Marcus playfully asked Meghan if she remembered any “hot hockey players.”
Meanwhile, Harry, who was reportedly unhappy with Meghan's past association with the term “puck bunny” during her time in Toronto, appeared visibly frustrated.
It seemed as though he may have been eagerly awaiting the game's conclusion, perhaps longing for a moment of privacy in their hotel room.
While Meghan may have pretended to be interested in sports, Harry knew that her enthusiasm was merely a facade.
Her knowledge of hockey was limited to the salaries earned by the players.
Prior to her marriage into the royal family, Meghan attempted to establish herself as a “wag” and befriend individuals from the reality show Made in Chelsea, particularly Millie McIntosh, before abruptly cutting ties with her.
Meghan also allegedly pursued Ashley Cole, who showed no interest, and had a brief fling with Rory McIlroy.
After failing to make a mark in Hollywood and Toronto, Meghan set her sights on England in search of a wealthy suitor.
