The informant claimed that Megan had been involved with Peter Holland, an ice hockey player, while still married to Trevor Engelson.

These allegations were further fueled by evidence found on Twitter, where Megan and Peter seemed to engage in flirtatious exchanges.

The timeline of their alleged affair begins on November 2, 2013, when Peter Holland tweeted, quoting Megan, “At Megan Markle, part of me wants to unfollow you now because I found out that you’re married.

No more of this one in a million talk.”

This tweet appeared to allude to some romantic conversations that had taken place between them.

The following year, in November 2014, another interaction occurred.

Megan tweeted, “So at Air Canada, I thought we were friends but you’re killing me today.

Need to shoot at suits at 5am tomorrow.

#help.”

Peter Holland responded, offering to pick her up at the airport to ease her travel.

While Megan’s response to his proposal is no longer available, Peter replied, “Alright, I’ll just come and pick you up too.

This exchange hinted at the possibility of their meeting up when he went to pick her up at the airport.

Adding fuel to the fire, a comment made by Rachel at Hotmail on Proto’s Sussex squad page caught attention.

She stated, “You know that kindness is the number one quality she looks for in a man.

Interestingly, this phrase sounded familiar, as it was recycled during Megan’s engagement interview.

This led some to speculate that Megan herself might have been behind the Sussex squad page.

All of Peter Holland’s tweets related to Megan are still accessible on his Twitter account.

Despite discovering Megan’s marital status, Peter Holland continued to pick her up at the airport seven months later and again a year after that.

These actions seemed to support the claims that Megan was indeed a puck bunny, someone who primarily sought relationships with hockey players rather than genuine interest in the sport.
